Well, well, that was an excellent display of bowling from the Delhi side. They never let the Kolkata batters settle and kept on picking wickets at regular intervals. They struggled a bit to dismiss Jason Roy, but Kuldeep Yadav finished the job in the 15th over. Ishant Sharma, Anrich Nortje, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with two wickets each while Mukesh Kumar has one in his bank.
Kolkata's side struggled with the bat. They were under the pump right from the word go. Jason Roy was the lone batter who stood firm and scored 43 runs. The rest of the batters struggled with their blade. Only three of the Kolkata batters scored in double digits, the rest were dismissed for a single digit. Andre Russel scored an amazing knock of 38 runs at the end. He added some crucial runs on the board and helped his side reach to a total of 127 runs.
Kuldeep Yadav is in for a quick chat. He says that they bowled really well in the powerplay and that was a game-changing moment for them. Adds that he bowlers quicker deliveries so he can bowl in the final overs. Ends by saying that when they play against the good side, they have to do well and says that this is probably the lowest total they can restrict to certain team.
Right then, Kolkata has put up a low total of 127 runs on the board. It will be a tough job for their bowlers to defend this score. For Delhi, the onus is on their batters to put up a strong stand and chase this down. Can they do it? Or will Kolkata bounce back and turn things around? Let's find out shortly. Chase coming up in a bit...
... The Run Chase ...
We are back for the chase!
