Chennai have qualified for the playoffs. Top two is very certain for Chennai now after winning by a huge margin here. The win was set up by the batters though. The likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway scored brilliant fifties and to wrap it up, there were cameos from Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja as Chennai posted a big total of more than 220..

19.6 : It was clearly a hard pitch to bat on but Delhi missed out, their bowlers mainly who were not up to the target, too inconsistent and ended up giving too many runs. Chennai though were just superb with the ball. They took three wickets inside 5 overs and that just pushed Delhi on the back foot. David Warner though was the lone warrior, despite wickets falling on one side, he kept on hitting boundaries but it was just a big of task for him to chase this down. 
The bowling this season has not helped Delhi. Not in this match as well, as they finish their campaign on the wrong side. A lot to improve and Delhi will hope to come back stronger next season.

David Warner credits Chennai for the way they played. He says they lost too many wickets in clumps and that didn't help them. Adds they will go back to the drawing board and come back stronger next year. Shares that they have to adapt to the conditions quickly. The pitch was slow and was keeping low but they missed out on building some partnerships. On his form, he tries to be consistent. Feels their powerplay wasn't the best as they lost too many wickets throughout the season. 
MS Dhoni says there is no recipe to win, they have to pick the best players and groom them in different areas. Adds the support staff has backed throughout as well. Shares confidence is key in death bowling and Tushar Deshpande has developed it. Tells behind the scenes a lot of work goes on to execute plans. Reckons they want players who keep the team first and adjust to the team environment quickly.
