Match over
0.2 : 0.2: Mitchell Starc to Prithvi Shaw, OUT! CASTLED! DRAGGED ON! Australia draw first blood in this game and Shaw walks back after scoring a 2-ball duck! There were a lot of questions about his inclusion in the squad and he has not answered those questions well. Not what Kohli would have hoped for when he decided to bat first. Starc bowls a good length ball around off, some inward movement noticed, Shaw looks to block this one out but it takes the inside edge and goes onto rattle the stumps beh
9.6 : 9.6: Josh Hazlewood to Mayank Agarwal, FOUR! CREAMED! On a fuller length and around off, Agarwal comes on the front foot and drives it through covers off the full face of the bat. The ball races to the fence at deep cover for the first boundary of the game.
15.1 : 15.1: Mitchell Starc to Mayank Agarwal, FOUR! Uppish! Starc angles one on off from round the wicket, Agarwal lofts it over covers and fetches a boundary now. It was a risky stroke as it could have gone straight up in the air too.
18.1: Pat Cummins to Mayank Agarwal, OUT! CASTLED! Oh my, oh my! He was looking so good so far and now a bit of lapse in concentration and Agarwal has to depart. Cummins bowls it around off and makes the ball jag back a bit inward. Agarwal, who is lining up for a defensive stroke is done in by the inward movement. The ball just about sneaks in between the gap between the bat and pad to hit the top of off. Brilliant bowling from Cummins, he was constantly bowling that testing line and finally he
33.2 : 33.2: Nathan Lyon to Virat Kohli, FOUR! BANG! Kohli doesn't want the spinner to settle either. Floated fuller and around off, Kohli jumps out of his crease and slams it over the bowler's head for a boundary.
36.1 : 36.1: Mitchell Starc to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Full ball on middle and leg, Virat flicks it in the gap through mid-wicket. Not a good start by Starc.
42.6 : 42.6: Mitchell Starc to Virat Kohli, FOUR! There's the response from Kohli. Starc bangs it short and instead of sitting under it, Kohli plays a controlled pull shot. He gets on top of the bounce and then rolls his wrists as he pulls it wide of the mid-wicket fielder who gives it a chase but fails to stop.
46.3 : 46.3: Cameron Green to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Streaky but necessary for Virat! He's drawn into this fuller delivery and attempts a cover drive. It takes the outside edge and finds the gap between slip and gully for a boundary towards third man.
47.2 : 47.2: Nathan Lyon to Cheteshwar Pujara, FOUR! The length is a little too short and Pujara takes full toll of this one! Pujara continuing with his attacking approach against Lyon! Flatter and outside off, Pujara punches this one through the cover region to find the ropes.
47.3 : 47.3: Nathan Lyon to Cheteshwar Pujara, FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries for Pujara and this time he sends it through the on side! Good batting by Pujara! Floated on off, Pujara skips down the track and works this through mid-wicket and it fetches him another boundary.
49.4 : 49.4: Nathan Lyon to Cheteshwar Pujara, OUT! CAUGHT! Lyon takes the big fish and finally this partnership has been broken by the Aussies! Their resilience comes to an end and it looks like Lyon has the last laugh in his battle with Pujara! Lyon changes his pace this time and bowls a quicker one on off, Pujara is hurried into the defensive stroke but does not play it properly as it takes the pad and goes to the fielder at short leg, Labuschagne who takes a good catch. There is a loud appeal
57.3 : 57.3: Nathan Lyon to Ajinkya Rahane, FOUR! Superb shot! First boundary for Rahane. A loopy ball and it is wide outside off, Rahane drills the drive through the cover region. No one is stopping this one.
57.5 : 57.5: Nathan Lyon to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Kohli's time to show his class now! Tosses it up and bowls it full outside off, Kohli leans forward and nails the drive through the cover region. The fielder gives it a chase to the fence, dives to pull the ball back in but fails to do so.
61.6 : 61.6: Nathan Lyon to Ajinkya Rahane, FOUR! The broom comes out now. Rahane nails the sweep this time. It is tossed up and outside off, Rahane sits down and sweeps it through square leg for a boundary.
66.2 : 66.2: Mitchell Starc to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Gets on top of the bounce and dispatches this one! Good batting this by the skipper! A short length ball on off, Kohli pulls this one through the mid-wicket region and collects a boundary.
67.5 : 67.5: Josh Hazlewood to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Hows that for a solid response! Short ball to follow that jaffa from Josh and Virat is equal to the task! He swivels and pulls handsomely behind square leg for a magnificent boundary! The stunning boundary brings up 50-run stand between the skipper and his deputy. A solid partnership. 150 up as well.
73.4 : 73.4: Pat Cummins to Ajinkya Rahane, FOUR! Educated edge from Rahane this time. This is on a length and outside off, Rahane defends and while doing it, opens the bat face at the last second to get it past the second slip fielder. It goes well wide and into the fence at third man.
74.2 : 74.2: Nathan Lyon to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Classic Kohli! Full and wide outside off, Kohli nails the drive through the covers. That is a stunning stroke from Kohli and he enters into the 70s now.
75.4 : 75.4: Pat Cummins to Ajinkya Rahane, SIX! BOOM! Enough of short balls and ducking under it, says Mr. Rahane. Cummins runs in and bangs it short and on middle, Rahane swivels and nails the pull over deep square leg for a maximum. Didn't hit it off the meat of the blade but it carried all the way so he won't care now.
76.6 : 76.6: Nathan Lyon to Ajinkya Rahane, OUT! RUN OUT! Oh dear! Rahane has sold his partner down the river. Kohli's innings has been cut short. Floated around off, Rahane pushes it towards mid off and calls for a single. Kohli goes for it but Rahane after taking a couple of steps forward sends him back. Kohli is almost midway and he has to make a lot of ground to return. By that time, Hazlewood throws the ball to Lyon who takes the bails off. Kohli is not even in the frame. Terrible calling from the
80.4 : 80.4: Mitchell Starc to Ajinkya Rahane, OUT! LBW! That looked plumb to the naked eyes and Rahane was sure that he didn't get any bat and he was simply walking but Vihari went running towards him and asked him to go upstairs. A very full ball around middle, Rahane is rooted in his crease as he tries to keep it out but misses to get hit on the pad. They all appeal and the finger is raised quickly. Rahane knows he is a gonner and he starts walking to the pavilion only to be stopped by Vihari who as
81.3 : 81.3: Josh Hazlewood to Hanuma Vihari, EDGY FOUR! Not the way that Vihari wanted to play that but as long as the runs keep flowing in, no one will care. On a good length on off, Vihari looks to tuck this one away but the ball takes the outside edge and flies through point to run away to the ropes. 200 up with this shot for India as well.
83.1 : 83.1: Josh Hazlewood to Hanuma Vihari, FOUR! SHOT! This is an anamoly from Hazlewood. It's a wide ball outside the off stump swinging away and Vihari leans into it and drives it sweetly through the point region. The fielder gives chase but to no avail.
83.2 : 83.2: Josh Hazlewood to Hanuma Vihari, OUT! LBW! Another one bites the dust! Hazlewood gets his first wicket of the game. India in a spot of bother here. The second new ball is doing the trick for the Aussies. After dishing out a poor ball, Hazlewood bowls one on a perfect line and length. Vihari is stuck in his crease as he looks to defend but he misses and gets hit on the back pad. An appeal and once again the finger goes up. Vihari gets to his partner who probably tells him that he is dead in
87.3 : 87.3: Pat Cummins to Ravichandran Ashwin, FOUR! In the air... but wide. A short ball on middle, Ashwin looks to take on as he looks to pull but gets a top edge. The ball is to the right side of the man at deep square leg who tries to get around but fails to get there. A boundary in the end.
88.4 : 88.4: Josh Hazlewood to Wriddhiman Saha, FOUR! Fine shot! He gets width outside off and doesn't want to miss out on a scoring opportunity. Gets on his front foot and drives it through the cover region to find the fence.
89.3 : 89.3: Pat Cummins to Ravichandran Ashwin, OUT! CAUGHT! Cummins strikes early on day 2! Does well here as he pitches it full and in that channel around off, Ashwin walks a bit down the track and looks to push it but the ball just shapes away a hint to catch the outside edge of Ashwin's bat. It flies towards Tim Paine and he does the rest.
90.3: Mitchell Starc to Wriddhiman Saha, OUT! Another one bites the dust! Starc into the act now! That was a sucker delivery as he dishes a fuller one outside off, Saha's eyes lit up seeing the width as he goes for the drive. He though fails to get to the pitch of the ball as he drives away from the body. The ball goes off Saha's outside edge and settles into the mitts of Tim Paine. India falling apart here early.
91.2 : 91.2: Pat Cummins to Umesh Yadav, FOUR! What an outstanding stroke! Yadav seems to want to add runs in a hurry! On a fuller length and on off, Yadav bangs this one over mid-wicket and it crosses the ropes on a couple of bounces for a boundary.
93.1 : 93.1: Pat Cummins to Mohammed Shami, OUT! CAUGHT! Easiest of catches for Head! A very soft dismissal and India will be disappointed that they could not do much damage at the start of Day 2! They lose their last 4 wickets for just 11 runs! On a shorter length on middle, Shami just lets his bat hang in the way and the ball lobs up towards short leg, where Head takes the simplest of catches. INDIA BOWLED OUT FOR 244.
92.2 : 92.2: Mitchell Starc to Umesh Yadav, OUT! CAUGHT! Starc gets his fourth wicket and India are nine wickets down now! Yadav threw his kitchen sink at this and in that process, loses his wicket. Starc dishes a good length ball on middle and off, Yadav looks for the big stroke again as he swings his bat hard but he does not time it well as it balloons towards the mid on region. Wade, the man at mid off, runs in, settles and takes a very good catch.
92.6 : 92.6: Mitchell Starc to Jasprit Bumrah, FOUR! Something to cheer about for the Indian fans! On a good length on off, Bumrah drives this through cover-point and the ball races away to the ropes. He will be hoping to atleast cross the 250-run barrier for India.
4.4 : 4.4: Umesh Yadav to Matthew Wade, FOUR! Wade and Australia open their account in some fashion! A back of a length ball outside off, width offered to Wade, he punches this one through the cover region for a boundary.
14.1 : 14.1: Jasprit Bumrah to Matthew Wade, OUT! LBW! Bumrah picks up the first wicket of the game and Wade walks back to the hut now! Australia have started off slowly but their opening pair cannot continue on. A slow innings from Wade as he made 8 runs from 51 balls. Good length ball on middle from around the wicket, Wade looks to push this to the leg side and misses to get rapped on the pads. The players appeal and the umpire obliges raising his finger. Wade has a talk with his partner and goes for
14.4 : 14.4: Jasprit Bumrah to Marnus Labuschagne, FOUR! Nicely played! Length delivery on off, Labuschagne looks to defend but gets an outside edge. It goes between the keeper's dive and first slip towards third man for a boundary.
15.4: Mohammed Shami to Marnus Labuschagne, FOUR! Good length delivery on off, Labuschagne looks to defend but gets an outside edge. It goes towards third man for a boundary. Agarwal does well to chase after this and pull it back but the umpires want to have a check and they decide that it will be a boundary.
15.5 : 15.5: Mohammed Shami to Marnus Labuschagne, FOUR! Length delivery on leg, Labuschagne flicks it towards fine leg for a boundary.
16.6 : 16.6: Jasprit Bumrah to Joe Burns, OUT! LBW! Another batter falls and it is India's gun bowler, Bumrah who has struck again for the visitors! Burns is the man who has departed after playing a patient, slow knock of 8 runs from 41 balls. Bumrah dishes a yorker length ball on middle and leg, Burns looks to work this to the leg side but misses to get hit on the pads. An excited appeal from the Indian players and the umpire agrees raising his finger. Burns goes for the review. Ultra Edge shows that
17.6: Mohammed Shami to Marnus Labuschagne, DROPPED AND FOUR! Short of a length delivery on middle, Labuschagne looks to pull but gets a top edge. It goes towards fine leg where Bumrah tries to take the catch but spills it and concedes a boundary. That should have been taken but maybe Bumrah was worried about where the boundary ropes were and lost his composure.
20.1 : 20.1: Jasprit Bumrah to Marnus Labuschagne, EDGY FOUR! Good length delivery on off, Labuschagne looks to defend but gets an outside edge. It goes between third slip and gully towards third man for a boundary.
29.1: Umesh Yadav to Marnus Labuschagne, FOUR! Good shot! Short delivery on middle, Labuschagne pulls it through mid-wicket for a boundary. The fielder in the deep runs to his left looking to stop this one but the ball wins the race.
26.6 : 26.6: Ravichandran Ashwin to Steven Smith, OUT! CAUGHT! The change to bring on Ashwin works for India as he gets rid of the dangerous Smith! Great bowling by Ravichandran and he grabs a wicket and breaks this partnership! Floated on off, Smith prods forward looking for the defensive stroke but the ball kisses the outside edge and goes towards the first slip, where Rahane gets low and takes a good catch. Smith goes without doing a lot of damage as he has scored only the solitary run.
29.5 : 29.5: Umesh Yadav to Marnus Labuschagne, FOUR! Nicely played! Full on middle, Labuschagne drives it through mid on for a boundary.
34.4 : 34.4: Ravichandran Ashwin to Travis Head, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Head departs and Australia are in all sorts of trouble now! Excellent bowling by the spinner and he has two wickets to his name! A very easy catch for someone of Ashwin's calibre to take and he is turning the game around for the visitors. Floated on middle, Head looks to work it to the leg side but closes the face of his bat early and gets a leading edge. It lobs back towards Ashwin, who does not have a lot to do and takes this
38.3 : 38.3: Ravichandran Ashwin to Cameron Green, FOUR! Cracking shot! Floated delivery on off, Green punches it through point for a boundary. His first boundary in international Test cricket and he will look to build on this.
40.3: Ravichandran Ashwin to Cameron Green, OUT! CAUGHT! After all the discussions about the fielding by India, the skipper, Kohli takes a blinder of a catch to remove the debutant Green. Ashwin gets his third wicket of the game and this Indian side are all over the hosts. Short ball and on middle, Green swivels and pulls this one towards the mid-wicket region. This is the area which Kohli is patrolling and he is not going to let this one go. Kohli dives to his right and grabs the ball rig
42.4 : 42.4: Ravichandran Ashwin to Tim Paine, FOUR! Cracking shot! Short delivery on off, Paine cuts it through point for a boundary.
47.5 : 47.5: Jasprit Bumrah to Tim Paine, FOUR! Nicely played! Full toss on off, Paine drives it through mid off for a boundary.
51.1 : 51.1: Umesh Yadav to Tim Paine, FOUR! Punched! Paine is looking to dispatch the balls that have some width! A short of a length ball outside off, Paine slashes this one through point for a boundary. 100 up for the hosts as well.
52.1: Jasprit Bumrah to Tim Paine, EDGY FOUR! It had too much height on this, or this could be straight into the hands of someone at the slip region! A back of a length ball outside off, Paine slashes his bat at this but the ball takes the outside edge and flies over the slip cordon into the ropes.
52.3 : 52.3: Jasprit Bumrah to Tim Paine, FOUR! Stand and deliver from the skipper! Short of a length ball outside the off pole, Paine gets on top of the bounce and punches this one through point for a boundary. The Aussies are getting a move on, by the looks of things.
53.3: Umesh Yadav to Marnus Labuschagne, OUT! LBW! Umesh gets his first wicket of the game and Labuschagne is walking back slowly to the shed! The batting by Australia is falling apart and their set batter is back now. India are doing really well to scalp the wickets at regular intervals and the Aussies are on the back foot now. He is also just short of his 50. Fullish length ball on middle and leg, Marnus looks to work this to the leg side but misses to get rapped on the pads. There is a loud a
53.6 : 53.6: Umesh Yadav to Pat Cummins, OUT! CAUGHT! Cummins walks back after doing not much to harm the bowling of India! Ends the over with a bang too, does Umesh! Dishes a short ball on middle, takes Cummins completely by surprise and he looks to fend this one away. But the ball takes the shoulder of the bat and goes up towards the slip cordon. Rahane, there, is as safe as house and he takes an easy catch.
54.5 : 54.5: Jasprit Bumrah to Tim Paine, DROPPED AND FOUR! Agarwal is the culprit this time! India have not had the best of days in the field today! This is short and on middle. Paine pulls it flat and uppishly towards deep square leg. Agarwal runs to his right and looks to take it with a jump but the ball bursts through. It seems like he has saved a boundary by diving but replays show that the ball has touched the ropes.
55.2 : 55.2: Umesh Yadav to Mitchell Starc, FOUR! Thumped away! Length and around off, Starc drags it over mid on and bags a boundary. So the intentions are clear, Starc is not going to hang around.
60.1 : 60.1: Ravichandran Ashwin to Mitchell Starc, OUT! Starc is indeed short. This is the last thing Australia needed, a run out! Not sure if the second run was on or needed there. It is on the pads, Starc works it through square leg and takes one. He calls for a second and goes for it. Shaw gets to the ball and fires it to the keeper. It is a good throw, right beside the stumps and Saha whips the bails off. The umpire takes it upstairs and replays show that Starc is short. Australia still trail by a
63.1: Mohammed Shami to Tim Paine, FOUR! 50 for Tim Paine! The skipper leading from the front. He is fighting a lone battle.Has looked the best out of all the Aussie batters. Needs to keep going though. This is shorter and outside off, Paine slashes at it. It goes through backward point for a boundary.
63.4 : 63.4: Mohammed Shami to Tim Paine, FOUR! Short delivery outside off, Paine looks to cut but gets an outside edge. It goes over the slip region towards third man for a boundary.
65.2 : 65.2: Mohammed Shami to Nathan Lyon, FOUR! Smashed! That is some shot! Shorter, not very short. Lyon jumps onto it and smashes it through mid-wicket.
66.5 : 66.5: Ravichandran Ashwin to Nathan Lyon, OUT! TAKEN! Virat looks at the heavens in relief after taking this one. Not sure why though? Probably because India finally hung onto one or they have broken this stand. Could be both too. A soft dismissal. This is on middle. Lyon looks to flick it but does so uppishly. It probably came off slow from the surface. In the end it is chipped to short mid-wicket. Four for Ashwin.
68.2 : 68.2: Ravichandran Ashwin to Josh Hazlewood, FOUR! Vital runs for Australia. Hazlewood is not going to die wondering. This is full and tossed up. Josh goes for it. He hits it hard through mid on for a boundary.
68.4 : 68.4: Ravichandran Ashwin to Josh Hazlewood, FOUR! Chipped over! So the intentions are clear! If it is tossed up, Josh is going to go for it. Ashwin giives it air and lands it on middle, Hazlewood lofts it high and over the mid on fielder for one more boundary.
70.1 : 70.1: Ravichandran Ashwin to Tim Paine, FOUR! Lovely shot! Paine brings out the reverse sweep. He rolls his wrists over the ball to get over the bounce. Plays it nicely all along the ground and to the point fence.
71.6 : 71.6: Jasprit Bumrah to Tim Paine, FOUR! A single is what Paine wanted but don't think he will mind a boundary! Or will he? India will be happy too, to have Hazlewood on strike from the first ball. This is short and outside off, Paine looks to pull. It is a high bumper. It goes off the top edge and to the fine leg fence.
72.1 : 72.1: Umesh Yadav to Josh Hazlewood, OUT! Caught at slip! Pujara takes a good sharp catch! Umesh bangs it short and outside off. Hazlwood looks to slash at it. It goes off the outside edge and towards first slip. Pujara takes it above his head with a leap. AUSTRALIA HAVE BEEN BOWLED OUT FOR 191!
3.1 : 3.1: Pat Cummins to Prithvi Shaw, OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! If Mitch doesn't get you, Pat will. And Pat deserves a pat on his back. He could have been frustrated after a very trying first over but he eventually gets one of the openers. Pretty much similar to the way Starc got Shaw on Thursday. A length ball, outside off, Shaw looks to defend but there is a big gap between his bat and pad. The naughty ball exposes that gap. Does just enough to get back in, go through the gap, perhaps take a tiny littl
6.4 : 6.4: Mitchell Starc to Mayank Agarwal, FOUR! First runs of the day. Starc strays one on the pads and Agarwal handsomely flicks it through square leg and gets a boundary. Brilliant stuff from him there.
7.6 : 7.6: Pat Cummins to Jasprit Bumrah, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Cummins strikes! Brilliant change of pace there. Bowls a fuller length ball around off but also ensures to take the pace of the ball. Bumrah looks to defend it off the front foot but is early into the shot as the ball lobs off the higher part of the bat towards Cummins. Patto there gets to the bowl and gobbles it up with ease.
11.2 : 11.2: Pat Cummins to Cheteshwar Pujara, OUT! CAUGHT! Cummins strikes once again! Pujara departs! Excellent from Pat there. He keeps bowling in that channel outside off and gets this one to come a bit inward and then takes it away from the batter. Pujara who is caught on the crease fails to get to the pitch of the ball as he pokes it tentatively. The ball though kisses the outside edge and goes low towards Tim Paine where he does well to go low and take it.
12.1 : 12.1: Josh Hazlewood to Mayank Agarwal, OUT! CAUGHT! Perfect from Hazlewood. Bowls it on a good length and around off, Agarwal does the same mistake  as that of Pujara as he too goes to defend off the back foot. The ball just about shapes away from the batsman to catch the outside edge. This time though it goes at a good height to Paine who takes it with ease. Looks like India are losing the plot here.
12.5 : 12.5: Josh Hazlewood to Ajinkya Rahane, OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust! Rahane departs for a duck! India in all sorts of trouble here. From 6/1 they are 15/5 in no time. Hazlewood bowls a fuller one this time in that channel around off, Rahane goes for the defensive push with hard hands but ends up getting a thick outside edge behind to the keeper who accepts it gleefully.
13.3 : 13.3: Pat Cummins to Virat Kohli, FOUR! EDGY but India will take it. Length and outside off, Kohli plays it through gully and gets a boundary at third man.
13.4 : 13.4: Pat Cummins to Virat Kohli, OUT! CAUGHT! Brilliant effort in the field from the debutant Cameron Green! Pat gets his 4th wicket and he is on fire here. Bowls one on a length and around off,  How many times have we seen Kohli chase a wide delivery in Test cricket? The answer would be many times.
18.4: Josh Hazlewood to Wriddhiman Saha, OUT! CAUGHT! India cannot getting anything at the moment. Yes, they are only getting casuality right now. Josh bowls one on a length and around middle and leg, Saha goes for the flick but does not bother to keep it down as he hits it uppishly. The ball goes straight to short mid-wicket where Marnus Labuschagne is stationed he accepts it gleefully and India lose their 7th.
18.5 : 18.5: Josh Hazlewood to Ravichandran Ashwin, OUT! CAUGHT! Australia into the Indian tail now with this wicket! Brilliant from Josh there. He bowls one around off and Ashwin who is caught on the back foot within the crease can only manage to get a faint tickle behind to the keeper. Tim Paine there takes the catch and goes up in an appeal joined by his bowler. The umpire too raises his finger after the appeal. Ashwin though is not convinced and challenges the decision taking it to third umpire.
19.2 : 19.2: Pat Cummins to Hanuma Vihari, FOUR! Nicely played! Length delivery outside off, Vihari punches it through point for a boundary.
20.1 : 20.1: Josh Hazlewood to Hanuma Vihari, OUT! CAUGHT! 9 down are India! A lead of 84 runs is what they have. What is happening here. Hazlewood gets a 5-fer. What a time to get to it. Josh bowls it around off, and gets it to nip away from Vihari. Hanuma who looks to have a feel for the ball can only manage to get  thick outside edge which is gobbled up by the keeper who goes to his right and pouches it.
20.5 : 20.5: Josh Hazlewood to Umesh Yadav, FOUR! Lucky runs there for India! Short delivery on middle, Umesh Yadav looks to pull but gets a top edge. It goes towards fine leg for a boundary.
0.2 : 0.2: Umesh Yadav to Matthew Wade, FOUR! WADE AND AUSTRALIA ARE UP AND RUNNING! Short and wide outside off, Wade slashes one through point and fetches a boundary to open the account.
2.1 : 2.1: Umesh Yadav to Matthew Wade, FOUR! Terrific shot! Full delivery on off, Wade drives it through covers for a boundary.
3.5 : 3.5: Jasprit Bumrah to Matthew Wade, FOUR! NICELY DONE! Length ball on off, Wade just manages to open the bat and push the ball through the gap between third slip and point. The ball races to the fence at third man for a boundary.
5.5: Jasprit Bumrah to Joe Burns, EDGY FOUR! Burns is off the mark but not in a convincing fashion but he will take it anyhow. Length and around off, Burns gets it off the outer half of the bat as the ball rolls through the gap between gully and point and into the fence behind.
6.6 : 6.6: Umesh Yadav to Joe Burns, FOUR! Pulled with disdain! A short one that sits up perfectly for Burns who gets on top of the bounce and powers it through mid-wicket for a boundary.
7.5 : 7.5: Jasprit Bumrah to Joe Burns,  FOUR! Now Bumrah goes short and Burns punishes him too. Short and around off, Burns gets into the position early as he nails the pull to perfection towards deep mid-wicket region.
8.1 : 8.1: Umesh Yadav to Matthew Wade, FOUR!  Yadav strays one on the pads of Wade and Matthew this time just tickles fine towards fine leg as the ball crosses the ropes. runs coming thick and fast here for the Aussies.
8.3 : 8.3: Umesh Yadav to Matthew Wade, FOUR! That's Wade in T20 mode! Anything short and on middle, he will pounce on it. Short and wide outside off, Wade slashes it hard through point and fetches a boundary now.
15.2 : 15.2: Ravichandran Ashwin to Joe Burns, FOUR! Nice use of feet from Burns! Floated around off, Burns skips down the track and drives it through mid on and into the fence at long on for a boundary.
15.4 : 15.4: Ravichandran Ashwin to Joe Burns, FOUR! Burns looks to be in a hurry to finish things off. Another tossed up ball on off, Burns comes down the track and lofts it over Ashwin's head for another boundary.
17.2 : 17.2: Ravichandran Ashwin to Matthew Wade, OUT! RUN OUT! Not the time to get out when you are in touching distance of a victory. Wade and Australia won't  be happy but India would still take it to boost their morale on the field. Ashwin tosses one onto the pads of Wade who skips down the track and looks to flick it to the leg side but manages to hit to the man at short leg. Prithvi Shaw there looks to take the evasive action but the ball hits his sheen guard and rolls to the stumps. Wriddhima
19.2: Ravichandran Ashwin to Joe Burns, FOUR! Floated delivery on middle, Burns flicks it through square leg for a boundary.
19.5 : 19.5: Ravichandran Ashwin to Marnus Labuschagne, OUT! CAUGHT! Marnus departs in search of quick runs! Ashwin smartly bowls one around off and slows this one up too. Marnus comes dancing down the track eyeing the mid-wicket fence but fails to nail it to perfection. The ball flies to the man at mid on where Mayank Agarwal takes a dolly. Just 8 more required for Australia to win this Test.
20.2 : 20.2: Umesh Yadav to Joe Burns, FOUR! Back of a length on off, Burns punches it through point for a boundary.
20.6 : 20.6: Umesh Yadav to Joe Burns, DROPPED AND SIX! Short of a length delivery on middle, Burns pulls it towards square leg where the fielder tries to go for the catch but fails to do so as the ball sails over him for a maximum. AUSTRALIA WIN BY 8 WICKETS!
