0.0 : Hello and welcome for Qualifier 1. Hyderabad and Chennai, who finished the points table in the group stage 1st and 2nd respectively, remained separated only because of the NRR. It's the big one, a glorious night for cricket at the Wankhede Stadium. Dhoni's side may have a bit of momentum as they won their last game, where the Orange Army suffered three back-to-back losses. Though, in saying that, past form and occurrences don't matter at the end of the day. It's a new day with a fresh challenge,
Pitch Report - Sunil Gavaskar out in the middle says there is some wear and tear around the good length area. Adds the spinners who can make the ball come back in, like Rashid Khan for example, will do well. States the surface is on the slower side. MS Dhoni says that they will bowl. Feels it's a 7 o' clock start which means if there is dew, it will be more in the second half. Also adds that they have chased well this season. (On them being consistent to get to the playoffs) MS Dhoni credits his team for performing so well and considers himself lucky to get good performing players at the beginning. Kane Williamson wanted to bowl as well for the same reasons as mentioned by Dhoni. Feels that they have adapted to different conditions nicely and considers Wankhede to be having a very good surface. Informs that they are playing the same XI.

1.2 : L Ngidi to K Williamson, Cut in half! Ripper from Lungi. Length delivery around off, shapes back in and Williamson can't do anything about that. He'll feel lucky it just goes past the inside edge and into Dhoni's gloves. The Chennai skipper makes a muted appeal, but nothing from the umpire.

2.3 : D Chahar to K Williamson, FOUR! Oh, wow! All class from Kane. This is unreal. Back of a length and he has some room outside off, wastes no time in rocking back and cutting it fiercely through point for a boundary.

4.1 : S Thakur to K Williamson, Can't bowl it to him there. Full on the pads, it's flicked through backward square leg for a double.
4.2 : S Thakur to K Williamson, OUT! That's the big one! That's the wicket which Chennai wanted. A soft dismissal in the end, to be honest. It's short and down the leg side from Thakur, Williamson looks to pull this hard across the fine leg fence but gloves it behind to Dhoni who makes no mistake in taking it. Although, they have managed a below par total, the momentum currently is with them. It was a dismal batting show by Hyderabad in this pressure game. Their top order got blown away while the middle order once again failed to step up. The Chennai bowlers were stupendous and overall their game plan was to the T. The use of bowlers from MS Dhoni was simply brilliant and everyone looked charged up for this encounter.
