0.0 : Hello and welcome, folks! It's Sunday and time for another double-header - the top of the table clash! The Orange army will be welcoming the Men in yellow at their own den. The hosts received a serious hammering at the hands of a certain Chris Gayle in their previous game and the sooner they put it behind, will be good for them. They haven't done bad at all, it was the first time they tasted defeat this season and would be looking to start afresh again.
Chennai, on the other hand would be high on confidence after their emphatic win over Rajasthan. Fresh of a ton, the Aussie all-rounder, Shane Watson is in form of his life and has given his side a strong boost up the order. Others have chipped in as and when it's required. Once again they are looking a team to defeat this season. Will the hosts be able to do so? We shall find out soon...
Toss - Kane Williamson flips the coin and it comes down in favour of him. Hyderabad elect to bowl!
Kane Williamson says it's not a strong advantage to bowl first since the wicket remains the same. Adds Chennai have a strong batting line-up so it's important to do the job with the ball in hand first up. Further says they will look to play at their best and hopes for a good show today. Informs Billy Stanlake and Ricky Bhui come in for Shikhar Dhawan and Chris Jordan. States the southpaw opener will be fit for the next game.
MS Dhoni says he is happy to do well in the tournament. Adds they haven't been dependent on single individual to win games which is what has impressed him all the more. Reckons they always wanted the whole team to contribute so that there is not much pressure on one individual. Informs us that Imran Tahir isn't fit and Fad du Plessis comes in for him.
All set for the action to begin. The players and umpires have made their way out to the middle. There is a change in the opening combination for Chennai. Faf du Plessis is the new partner for Shane Watson. Will we see them firing on all cylinders? Bhuvneshwar Kumar to steam in first up. A a slip in place! Here we go...
0.1 : B Kumar to S Watson, Beaten! What a delivery firsr up. Bhuvi lands it on a length just outside off, it moves away just a shade, Watson presses forward to defend but the ball just about whizzes past the outside edge of his bat. Test match length, this!
0.2 : B Kumar to S Watson, Off the edge! Chennai are underway! On a length and swinging away, Watson pushes it away from the body. Gets it off the edge down to third man for a single.
0.3 : B Kumar to du Plessis, Faf waits for the ball to come and taps it in front of point. Wants a run but won't get it.
0.4 : B Kumar to du Plessis, Another good delivery! Good length delivery, around middle and off and then straightening off the seam, Faf is squared up a touch as he looks to poke at it. Gets it off the outer half towards point and gets off the mark with a single.
0.5 : B Kumar to S Watson, There is the one that nips back in! Watson is alert to this as he punches one straight to the cover fielder.
0.6 : B Kumar to S Watson, Drops it on a back of a length, just outside off, tight lines from Kumar. Watson is happy to pat it away. Superb first over from him.
Billy Stanlake will bowl from the other end.
1.1 : B Stanlake to du Plessis, Did that carry? Ohhh... just! Stanlake begins with a fuller ball, outside off, Faf leans ahead to drive it away but edges one behind. It flies towards Hooda at first slip who dives to his right but the ball just dips in front of him and races behind. The third man mops it up and keeps them down to one. Both the openers are looking itchy.
1.2 : B Stanlake to S Watson, Lunges forward to a length delivery and pushes it away on the off side.
1.3 : B Stanlake to S Watson, Back of a length delivery, on middle and off, Watson punches it off the back foot towards the cover-point fielder.

2.3 : Al Hasan to S Watson, Slower through the air, shorter on middle, pulled down to long on for another single.
2.4 : Al Hasan to du Plessis, Shimmies down the track does Faf and nudges it towards square leg for one. Giving nothing away to the batsmen.
2.5 : Al Hasan to S Watson, Very full outside off, drilled hard but can't find the gap at cover.
2.6 : Al Hasan to S Watson, Too full in length, at 90 kph, knocked down to long on for a single. This is really a slow start from Chennai, just 8 from 18 balls.
Change of ends for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He has a slip in place, a wide one.
3.1 : B Kumar to S Watson, Slower delivery, angling in on the pads, Watson misses his flick as the ball brushes his pads and rolls to Saha behind.
3.2 : B Kumar to S Watson, SIX! Pummeled! What a shot! Back of a length delivery on middle, Watson with a minimal swivel, picks it up and pulls it with disdain over square leg for a maximum.
3.3 : B Kumar to S Watson, OUT! The knuckle delivery gets the better of Shane Watson. Kumar gets his man, what a response from the bowler after getting hit for a biggie on the previous ball. Drops it around middle, at 118.6 kph, it comes slowly off the deck and Watson had no clue about it. He just tries to tuck it away but the ball goes off the splice of the bat and it's a good catch taken by Deepak Hooda at short mid-wicket. There comes the stare from Kumar to the batter. Shows he's pumped up an

4.2 : B Stanlake to S Raina, Covers the line and shows a straight bat in response to the back of a length delivery.
4.3 : B Stanlake to S Raina, FOUR! Sliced away! Raina is early to make room, Stanlake does well to follow him but such is the talent of the southpaw that he still manages to put that away. He slices it square on the off side past point for a boundary. The third man tries his best to stop it but the ball still wins the race.
4.4 : B Stanlake to S Raina, Short of a length delivery, at 143 clicks, Raina hops across and tucks it towards square leg. Faf du Plessis wants one but is sent back by Raina.
4.5 : B Stanlake to S Raina, Top edge... safe! Good try from Manish Pandey though. On a length and angling in at 142.2 kph, Raina wildly swings across the line but gets a big top edge. Pandey from backward point runs backwards, puts in a forward dive but fails to reach to it. Good effort and a couple is braced.
4.6 : B Stanlake to S Raina, Changes the pace this time, Raina reads it as he just pushes it away towards cover. Another fantastic over from Billy.
Siddarth Kaul to bowl the last over of the Powerplay.
5.1 : S Kaul to du Plessis, FOUR! Down the track and over the infield! Not off the middle but he will take that. Good length delivery outside off, du Plessis skips down the track and attempts for the loft over cover. Manages to hit it over the man there and picks up a boundary, his first one of this innings. Will that get him going?
5.2 : S Kaul to du Plessis, Sees Faf giving the charge and hence he drags his length short does Kaul. The batter looks to flay it through the off side but gets an inside edge on the pads.
5.3 : S Kaul to du Plessis, Faf du Plessis is just not able to put bat on ball as he would have liked. Gets across to play the paddle scoop but there is hardly any pace behind the ball. Misses it completely as the ball bounces over the stumps and rolls on the bounce to the keeper behind.
5.4 : S Kaul to du Plessis, Once again shimmies down the track, Faf digs it out towards mid on for a single.
5.5 : S Kaul to S Raina, Worked off the back foot towards mid-wicket.
5.6 : S Kaul to S Raina, Yorker on middle, jammed down to long off for just a single. Sensational display of bowling from Williamson's men as they have managed to restrict the star-studded batting line-up for jut 27, which is the lowest this season.
Shakib Al Hasan to roll his arm over again.
6.1 : Al Hasan to S Raina, Flatter on middle, punched back.
6.2 : Al Hasan to S Raina, The batsman works it down the leg side. One run added to the total.
6.3 : Al Hasan to du Plessis, Comes down the track, almost yorks himself but still manages to flick it away through mid-wicket for one.

Rashid Khan to have a go now.
7.1 : R Khan to du Plessis, OUT! Stumped! Rashid Khan puts Faf du Plessis out of his misery. Starts off with a loop leg break, Faf du Plessis lunges ahead to play the sweep but misses it completely and to add to it, his back leg comes out of the crease in the process. Saha behind the stumps collects the ball and takes the bails off. He appeals and the square leg umpire rules it out. Rashid Khan, the man who was taken to the cleaners in the last game against Gayle has come back with a bang as he s
0.0 : Ambati Rayudu is the new man in.
7.2 : R Khan to A Rayudu, Googly, turning back in, Rayudu looks to punch it away but gets an inside edge on the pads.
7.3 : R Khan to A Rayudu, FOUR! Top edge! Tossed up delivery, landed outside off, Rayudu gets down on one knee and looks to go for the slog sweep. Gets a top edge but there is no one manning the deep mid-wicket fence. A lucky boundary results.
7.4 : R Khan to A Rayudu, Pushed quicker through the air, Rayudu tucks it off his pads towards short fine leg.
7.5 : R Khan to A Rayudu, Floated ball outside off, eased through cover for one more.
7.6 : R Khan to S Raina, The batsman has punched the ball off the back foot.
Siddarth Kaul is called back.
8.1 : S Kaul to A Rayudu, Short of a length delivery outside off, tapped in gap at cover by Ambati for a single.
8.2 : S Kaul to S Raina, Shuffles across to a length ball and clips this back of the hand ball to the man at short mid-wicket.
8.3 : S Kaul to S Raina, Kaul sees Raina backing away so he smartly slants it wider outside off, Raina has to reach out for that one. All he does is, mistime it towards point.
8.4 : S Kaul to S Raina, Another one, this is almost a replica of the previous ball. Raina once again decides to back away and play the big shot over cover but Kaul changes the pace and angles it away from the southpaw. It's chopped to point for nothing.
8.5 : S Kaul to S Raina, This time he decides to go the other way. Flicked off the pads over mid-wicket for one. Was in the air but no harm done.
8.6 : S Kaul to A Rayudu, Wide! Digs in a short one outside off, it loops over the head of the batsman who stays put inside the crease. The umpire stretches his arms as it was too high.
S Kaul to A Rayudu, Chance of a run out! A better throw from Ricky Bhui would have had Rayudu. Fuller ball outside off, Ambati drives it towards point and Raina calls for the single. Ricky attacks the ball and has a shy at the bowler's end but it's a bit off target. Had it been on the stumps, Ambati would have been struggling.
Time for a strategic break! Chennai are all at sea at the moment. The move to send Faf du Plessis up the order didn't work as the Protea struggled big time. Since then, none of the batsmen have got going on this two-paced track. But credit to the bowlers as they have been on song so far. 11 overs to go, will we see the Men in yellow upping the ante?
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is back into the attack.
9.1 : B Kumar to A Rayudu, Fuller in length and outside off, driven towards mid off.
9.2 : B Kumar to A Rayudu, SIX! Picks the bones out of that one! Slower delivery, fuller in length and it's hurled at 111.4 kph, Rayudu gets down on one knee and slog sweeps it high and over wide long on for a biggie.
9.3 : B Kumar to A Rayudu, Back of a length delivery outside off, punched off the back foot through cover for a single.
9.4 : B Kumar to S Raina, Nudged wide of the man at short mid-wicket for a single.
9.5 : B Kumar to A Rayudu, Eventually the 50 is raised for Chennai. Rayudu dabs this slower back of a length delivery towards Rashid Khan at short third man.
9.6 : B Kumar to S Raina, FOUR! Up and over! Raina dances down the track to short of a length ball, makes room and lifts it inside out over extra cover for a boundary. The stand moves to 22 now, they need these two to go on.
Shakib Al Hasan to bowl now. Scratch that, it's Deepak Hooda who is given the ball now. Interesting move.
10.1 : D Hooda to A Rayudu, FOUR! Welcomes Hooda with a boundary! Tossed up outside off, Rayudu gets down on one knee and reverse sweeps it past backward point for a boundary. Two boundaries in two balls for Chennai. Will this break the shackles?
10.2 : D Hooda to A Rayudu, Dances down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and milks a single down to long on for one.
10.3 : D Hooda to S Raina, Almost a return catch! Floated ball, served outside off, Raina comes forward to push it away but nearly chips one back to the bowler. Luckily, it lands short of Hooda who tries to dive and take it.
10.4 : D Hooda to S Raina, Drilled towards sweeper cover for an easy single.
10.5 : D Hooda to A Rayudu, Jumps out of the crease and whips it through mid-wicket for a single.
10.6 : D Hooda to S Raina, The batsman plays the pull-shot. They pick up a single.
Rashid Khan is back.
11.1 : R Khan to S Raina, Googly, wide outside off, slapped square on the off side for a boundary.

11.3 : R Khan to S Raina, Goes for the big slog but drags it off the inner half through mid-wicket for a single.
11.4 : R Khan to A Rayudu, Chance of a run out! Rayudu gets this one off the inner half towards short fine leg. Raina calls him through for one but Ambati is late to react. Billy has a shy at the striker's end but Suresh is comfortably in. The throw should have been at the bowler's end.
11.5 : R Khan to S Raina, SIX! Shot! Excellent use of the feet from Raina! Skips down the track to the leg break and whips it cleanly over mid-wicket for a biggie.
11.6 : R Khan to S Raina, SIX! Two in two for Raina! Floated delivery on middle and off, Raina gets down and belts it over deep mid-wicket for back-to-back maximums. Raina in full flow here and Rashid Khan doesn't know what to do. Looks clueless and walks off from the bowling area. The 50-run stand has been raised between the two. Shored things up really well, these two.
Shakib Al Hasan is back.
12.1 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, Dropped short on middle, Rayudu goes deep in the crease and pulls it in front of square on the leg side for a brace.
12.2 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, Tossed up outside off, swept towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
12.3 : Al Hasan to S Raina, Darted in on middle and leg, whippy flick on the leg side for a single.
Is there an inside edge on the pads? The keeper has taken it and Hyderabad feel they have got Rayudu here. It's not upheld from the umpire and hence Williamson wants to review this.
12.4 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, Nothing on the Ultra Edge! Quicker delivery, angling down leg, Rayudu comes down the track to tuck it away but it lobs off something and Saha moves to his left and takes it. They claim the catch but the umpire turns it down. Williamson takes the referral and it goes waste as the replays suggest there was no bat involved.
12.5 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, FOUR! Glorious! Tossed up ball outside off, Rayudu uses his feet, gets to the pitch of the ball and nails the cover-drive. No stopping it.
12.6 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, The batsman has driven it through mid on. One run added to the total.
Strategic break!

13.1 : B Stanlake to A Rayudu, Good length delivery outside off, driven the up but finds the man at cover.
13.2 : B Stanlake to A Rayudu, FOUR! Slashed and slashed hard! Short of a length delivery, with width on offer, Rayudu stays put and takes on the offering. Slams it hard and through point for a blazing boundary.
13.3 : B Stanlake to A Rayudu, On a length and outside off, Rayudu looks to cut that away but gets a bottom edge towards the off side.
13.4 : B Stanlake to A Rayudu, FOUR! Edged and through! That was delivered at 144.5 kph, on a shorter length outside off. Rayudu goes hard at it but gets a thick edge which flies down to third man for a boundary.
13.5 : B Stanlake to A Rayudu, Wide! Pounds in a short one outside off, Rayudu doesn't do anything.
B Stanlake to A Rayudu, SIX! Swing and swing hard! On a length, this time he changes the pace. Ambati swings and sends it over long on for a maximum.

14.2 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, Fifty for Rayudu, his 15th in the League. Well played! He is playing a gem of an innings and has bailed his side out of the early stutter. Eases this full ball down to long on and raises the bat.
14.3 : Al Hasan to S Raina, Driven straight back and it hits the stumps at the other end. Had Shakib got a hand to it, Rayudu would have been run out as he was out of his crease.
14.4 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, SIX! A juicy full toss, Rayudu comes down the track and swings it cleanly over long on for a biggie.
14.5 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, FOUR! He is toying around with Shakib. Gets across to a flatter delivery and sweeps it behind square on the leg side for a boundary.
14.6 : Al Hasan to A Rayudu, Chekky! Reverse sweeps it towards short third man and takes one.
Rashid Khan is back on.
15.1 : R Khan to A Rayudu, Dropped short on middle, pulled towards deep square leg for a single.
15.2 : R Khan to S Raina, The batsman has flicked the ball off his pads. They pick up a single.
15.3 : R Khan to A Rayudu, FOUR! Dropped short and Rayudu doesn't spare Rashid. Camps deep inside the crease and pulls it between long on and mid-wicket for a boundary.
15.4 : R Khan to A Rayudu, SIX! Rayudu is playing on different planet! Wrong one, tossed up but Ambati picks it up. Gets down on one knee and slog sweeps it massively over deep mid-wicket for half a dozen. Will he score a ton? Well, he is on course for sure.
15.5 : R Khan to A Rayudu, Goes back and slaps it square on the off side for a single.
15.6 : R Khan to S Raina, FOUR! Raina doesn't hold back either! Googly, but it's too wide and it offers width to Suresh. The southpaw punches it past the diving cover fielder to pick 17 from this over, 36 from the last two.

16.3 : S Kaul to A Rayudu, FOUR! Skillful! Knuckle delivery on middle and off, Rayudu gets into the position early and reverse paddles it down to third man for a boundary. All deft!
MS Dhoni is the new man in.
16.4 : S Kaul to A Rayudu, OUT! Dear me, Ambati Rayudu is run out! Sigh! Twice in two games he has been run out. In the previous game it was brilliance from Ashwin but here, this was a waste of a wicket. Good length delivery outside off, lifted down to long off for a single. Rashid Khan in the deep returns the throw to the bowler who fails to collect. Rayudu thinks of taking another run and sets off before Raina sends him back. Kaul picks up the ball and gives it to Williamson who takes the bails
16.5 : S Kaul to S Raina, Opens the face of the bat and runs one does Raina.

17.5 : R Khan to MS Dhoni, Dropped short on middle, pulled hard but there is a man at deep mid-wicket. So just a single.
17.6 : R Khan to S Raina, FOUR! Rashid Khan ends his spell with a bad delivery. Twice in two games he has been really expensive. He got a wicket on the first ball today but since then has failed to capitalize. Short and slipped down the leg side, Raina uses the pace and helps it behind square on the leg side.
18.1 : S Kaul to MS Dhoni, FOUR! Top edge over the keeper! Kaul with a short one, directed towards the body, Dhoni goes for the full-blooded pull but the ball gets big on him. Gets it off the top edge which flies down to fine leg for a boundary.
18.2 : S Kaul to MS Dhoni, Goes fuller this time, knocked down to long on for a single.
18.3 : S Kaul to S Raina, FOUR! That's fifty for Suresh Raina, 32nd in the League. Started the innings very slowly and was struggling to middle the ball but didn't give up. Gets a round of applause from his mates, thoroughly deserves! Short and outside off, it's the knuckle delivery. Raina hits it through cover and gets to the milestone in a grand manner.
18.4 : S Kaul to S Raina, Raina makes room, Kaul follows him. The batter misses his flick as the ball goes off the pads towards the on side and they cross.

Tremendous comeback from Chennai and they need to thank the local lad, Ambati Rayudu for his splendid innings. His side was struggling when he walked in and the score read was - 32/2 in 7.1 overs. Since then, the plot completely changed. What looked like a two-paced surface, it seemed like he was batting on a different surface. Suresh Raina was slow to start off with but it didn't take time to gather steam. Together they took the attack to the opposition and stitched 112-run stand between them t
Michael Hussey is up for a chat. He says it was a fantastic comeback from his players. Adds the pitch is a bit two-paced and opines it will quicken up as the game progresses. Credits Raina and Rayudu for pulling things back. Feels the score that they have got is just over par. Ends by saying, Williamson's wicket will be the key for them and hopes that they get him early.
0.0 : We are back for the run chase. Kane Williamson is with his new partner, Ricky Bhui who has been drafted into the side in place of injured Dhawan. Will the rookie make a statement? Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar will have a go with the ball for Chennai. A slip in place. Here we go...
0.1 : D Chahar to R Bhui, Starts with a back of a length ball on off, Bhui gets behind the line and defends it from the higher end of his bat.
0.2 : D Chahar to R Bhui, Uppish, just safe! Extra lift from the wicket just like Kumar got in the first innings. Bhui is taken aback, tries to fend it off but it gathers the top edge and flies towards point. Rayudu rushes forward but it falls just short of him.
0.3 : D Chahar to R Bhui, On a length and outside off, Ricky pushes inside the line and misses.
0.4 : D Chahar to R Bhui, Puts bat on ball this time and pushes it towards covers. Not in the gap, four dot ball, pressure must be mounting on Bhui.
0.5 : D Chahar to R Bhui, OUT! Edged and gone! The pressure was building on Bhui and he finally succumbed under it. Clever bowling by Chahar, he delivers it on a driving length outside off and tempts the batsman. Ricky is lured forward as he tries to force it through the off side but ends up edging it to first slip. Shane Watson who dropped one in the last match doesn't make any mistake this time and Hyderabad suffer early blow.
Surprising move. Manish Pandey walks in next.
0.6 : D Chahar to M Pandey, Movement back into the batsman from a full length around off, Pandey gets an inside edge onto the pads. A stifled appeal but to no avail. A wicket maiden for Chahar, seems he has just carried his form from the last match.
Shardul Thakur to have a go from the other end.
1.1 : S Thakur to K Williamson, Short of a length delivery outside off, Williamson rises on toes and dabs it away towards point.
1.2 : S Thakur to K Williamson, Good effort from Karn! Short of a length delivery outside off, Williamson jumps in the air and slaps it backward point. Karn Sharma in the deep puts in a dive and slides to stop it from crossing the fence. Two saved.
1.3 : S Thakur to K Williamson, Fuller and outside off, Kane looks to drive it away but it swings away from him and beats him.
1.4 : S Thakur to K Williamson, FOUR! Shot! Short of a length delivery outside off, Williamson makes the most of the width and slaps it through point. Not a soul moved.
1.5 : S Thakur to K Williamson, Fuller ball, swinging away a bit, driven back to the bowler.
1.6 : S Thakur to K Williamson, FOUR! Beautifully done! Short of a length delivery outside off, Williamson rocks back and cuts it perfectly between cover and point for a boundary.
2.1 : D Chahar to M Pandey, OUT! In the air... gone! Deepak Chahar is on a roll here. 7 dot balls and a wicket, wow! He does a Bravo dance to express his joy. Serves it full and a bit wide outside off, Pandey goes hard at it. Slices it high in the air and it's a simple catch for Karn Sharma at third man. It was Pandey's 100th Indian T20 League inning and he fails to make a mark. Hyderabad rocked early.
0.0 : Deepak Hooda is the new man in.
2.2 : D Chahar to K Williamson, Eases this length ball down to third man for a single.

9.2 : S Watson to K Williamson, FOUR RUNNING RUNS! This is a very rare sight in a T20 game. Good running, really. Williamson hops back and tucks it uppishly over mid-wicket. Jadeja from deep mid-wicket and Bravo from long on charge towards the ball. The former gets to it and he tries to scoop it towards the latter but Bravo slips down. The ball scoots towards long off before Jadeja gets up and hares after it to stop it just before the rope. Now, the man from long off, Faf du Plessis picks it and

It takes the top edge and lobs towards short fine leg where Raina accepts a dolly. Will this slow things down again?
Yusuf Pathan is the next man in.
And a stumping appeal against Pathan is taken upstairs. Dhoni never appeals unless and until he is sure. So this could be close...
10.4 : K Sharma to Y Pathan, Just behind the line! Yusuf Pathan comes to the crease, sees the flight and decides to slog it across the line. It was the wrong one which turns away. Dhoni behind the stumps takes the ball and disturbs the bails. He appeals and it's taken upstairs. Replays show Pathan just about managed to drag his back foot behind.

12.2 : K Sharma to Y Pathan, Ouch, that would have hurt! Tossed up ball on middle, Yusuf tries to slog but gets a top edge. It hits him on the right side of his face as he is not wearing the helmet. No harm done. He is a strong man.
12.3 : K Sharma to Y Pathan, Aerial and nearly a catch. Seems the last blow has shaken up Yusuf. Goes for the slog sweep again and it catches the top edge. Bravo at deep square leg doesn't charge enough and it falls just in front of him.
12.4 : K Sharma to K Williamson, Leans forward and pushes it with the spin through covers for one.
12.5 : K Sharma to Y Pathan, Another miscued shot by Pathan. He is just trying to dominate the leggie but is failing to middle his shot. A leg spinner served wide outside off, Yusuf throws his bat at it and gets a top edge past short third man. Two more added to the total. Not convincing.
Physio comes out in the middle. He is attending to Pathan. Maybe, feeling the effect of the blow he received on the second ball of the ongoing over.
Yusuf Pathan is up on his feet. Good signs for Hyderabad. They need the big man to fire tonight and support the skipper.

14.1 : K Sharma to K Williamson, Tossed up outside off, it's the leg break, Kane lifts it with the turn over extra over to pick up a couple.
14.2 : K Sharma to K Williamson, SIX! All timing! Kane is someone who doesn't have the power of Gayle, but he has got the gift of timing which can still fetch him maximums. Here is one example. 14.3 : K Sharma to K Williamson, Slaps this quicker ball behind point and runs one.

14.5 : K Sharma to K Williamson, SIX! What a shot! Kane Williamson is playing a blinder here! Tossed up around middle and off, he sits down and slogs it over deep square leg. It's gone the distance!
14.6 : K Sharma to K Williamson, SIX! Ohhhhhhh! Kane is putting on a show here. Moves to 80 off 45. This is finesse from the skipper. Floated ball outside off, he doesn't overhit it. Just leans ahead and extends his arms. Makes enough connection to send it sailing over the long off fence. 22 off the over and Hyderabad have turned things around. This will get Dhoni thinking now.
Dwayne Bravo unleashed into the attack. 66 needed off 30 balls.
15.1 : D Bravo to Y Pathan, From around the wicket comes Bravo, drops it short, pulled to deep square leg for a single.

Strategic break!
Shardul Thakur is back.
16.1 : S Thakur to K Williamson, Fuller delivery, outside off, squeezed out down to third man for a couple of runs.
16.2 : S Thakur to K Williamson, What was that? Wasn't that a full toss? This must have slipped out of Thakur's hands. Kane goes for the wild pull but doesn't get enough meat behind. Mistimes it over square leg and gets to the other end in anger. He wanted the square leg umpire to call it a no ball but it's not given.
16.3 : S Thakur to Y Pathan, SIX! Pathan has clubbed it! Kane rushes to the other end and gives a fist punch to Yusuf. Clearly he is angry about the no ball call on the previous ball. A full toss, a juicy one and it's gone miles over long on. Pathan power, shouts my colleague.

17.2 : D Bravo to Y Pathan, Brilliant! Yorker, nothing much Pathan can do. He just digs it out back to Bravo.
17.3 : D Bravo to Y Pathan, Slower delivery, very full on the stumps, Yusuf looks to whip it away but gets it off the inner half. It beats the dive of the short fine leg fielder and they look for another. The throw comes from the deep as Pathan puts in a desperate dive to get back in. Oh, he's down in pain. That hamstring, ouch! This will hurt Hyderabad!
The man who is striking them well, Yusuf Pathan needs some assistance from the physio again. There is a bit of a delay. 36 needed from 15 balls. We have a nail-biter on the cards, folks. In the meanwhile, Pathan is up and ready to go.
17.4 : D Bravo to Y Pathan, Slower back of a length delivery outside off, hit flat down past Williamson at the other end. Wants two and gets it. Tell you what, he isn't looking comfortable at all out there. Limping and is on his haunches.

17.6 : D Bravo to K Williamson, OUT! A stunning catch from Jadeja! Chennai have got rid of Williamson. The skipper fails to take his team over the line. Has it swung back in the favor of Chennai? We shall find out. Ball - It's the slower one, the cutter on a length on middle, poor Kane with all his might tries to launch it down the ground but doesn't have enough meat behind the shot. Jadeja from long on, sprints in and dives at the right time to grab it cleanly. Looks so easy but it wasn't by any

18.1 : S Thakur to W Saha, Length ball outside off, driven off the toe end of the bat towards long off for a single.
18.2 : S Thakur to Y Pathan, SIX! Clobbered it! That was asking to be hit and Pathan doesn't disappoint. Gets across to a full toss and whacks it over the cow corner.
18.3 : S Thakur to Y Pathan, Another low full toss, it's hit back to the bowler.
18.4 : S Thakur to Y Pathan, OUT! Top edge... and Pathan departs! Is that the game for Chennai? Many would feel, yes! Knuckle delivery from Shardul and he gets the big fish here. Yusuf Pathan backs away to go big but is done in by the lack of pace on it. Skies it off the outer half of the bat towards extra cover where Suresh Raina takes an easy catch. Pathan knew the moment he hit that and continues to trudge back. A real good knock but he fails to do the job.
Rashid Khan is the new man in.
18.5 : S Thakur to W Saha, Saha pulls it through mid-wicket and gets one.
18.6 : S Thakur to R Khan, SIX! Is there life still in this? Rashid Khan, who was taken for aplenty with the ball gives it back with a meaty blow. Stays back, gets under a full ball and bludgeons it down the ground for a maximum. 19 needed off the last 6 balls.

19.5 : D Bravo to R Khan, FOUR! Yes it has come! It's off the edge but who cares? Certainly not the men from Hyderabad. On a length and outside off, Rashid Khan hits it hard but gets a thick edge which flies past the man at short third man for a boundary.
6 needed to win this game. Can Rashid Khan become a hero? Here we go...
19.6 : D Bravo to R Khan, No, he can't! Dwayne Bravo has done it for his side. Perfect yorker, into the blockhole, all Rashid can do is dig it out towards long on and get one. Not enough. CHENNAI WIN BY FOUR RUNS!
What a win for Chennai! It did get close towards the end, in fact very close but Dwayne Bravo stepped up and got his side over the line. The chase began in a very sad manner for the hosts. They lost three wickets inside the Powerplay, courtesy a classical spell from Deepak Chahar who was absolutely on song to dent Hyderabad up front. After that, we saw a surge. Kane Williamson and Shakib Al Hasan shored things up by stitching a 49-run stand but the latter departed, to put his side in further tro
The required rate was climbing and the Chennai spinners were exerting pressure but it was Kane Williamson who held one end up and unleashed at the right time. He got an able partner in Yusuf Pathan as together they hammered 79 off 45 balls for the 5th wicket to send the shiver down the spines of the opposition. However, both departed towards the end and it seemed like Chennai would easily seal the deal.
That wasn't meant to be. Rashid Khan, towards the end, walked in and hit a couple of lusty blows to evoke some life back in the contest and become the over but was denied by Bravo. Overall, a good show from Dhoni's men and they would be happy to come out on top by winning back-to-back games.
Man of the Match has been given to Ambati Rayudu for his masterclass knock of 79 in just 37 balls that had 9 boundaries and 4 maximums studded in it. He did a fabulous job to resurrect the innings and power his side to a fighting total. That's all from this game but you don't go anywhere. Suit up and tuck in to catch all the action from the second game where the two Mumbai lads are up against each other. See you on the other side. Cheers!
