Some fantastic batting from Roy (42) and Buttler (66) rocketed England total past 150. A half century partnership between Buttler and the English captain, Morgan, was the highlight of the innings.
Sri Lanka bowled well early on, restricting England's run rate nicely. Vandersay finished with 26/2 from his 4 overs and the veteran, Herath, finished with 27/1 from his four overs.
The Sri Lankan batting lineup will have their work cut out for them in this run chase. Their performance with the bat will have to be better than it's recent form in order to get the win here in Delhi.
