0.0 : Hello and a warm welcome to the coverage of match 51 between Bangalore and Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Indian T20 League is wide open and there is still a lot of suspense lingering around. Bangalore have gained some acceleration for the first time this season and they really needed it as the remaining two league games are do-or-die for them. Virat Kohli is looking ominous and that should lift the entire side. Parthiv Patel and Moeen Ali have given them the desired balance as wel
On the other hand, Hyderabad, the defending champions, are dominating the proceedings. Their coach, Tom Moody, said that they don't want to tinker with the settled combination. The only thing that the visitors need to be wary of is complacency. Kane Williamson has been sensational throughout and wouldn't want a drop in intensity from his troops. They are a formidable unit and will be aiming to continue their form. Expect a cracker!
Pitch Report - Michael Clarke says that the track looks very dry but it is hard as well. Adds that you can expect some spin with the brand new ball. Reckons that a score of around 180 will be a good one. Mentions that the ground is small and the outfield is fast and hence, the captain who wins the toss should opt to field first.
TOSS - Kane Williamson calls it tails and tails it is. Hyderabad opt to field first.
Hyderabad skipper, Kane Williamson, says that they will bowl first. Mentions it is difficult to predict the track and they want to try and make use of it with the ball first. Announces there is one change - Basil Thampi comes in for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Ends by saying that there has been a lot of workload and they want to manage that.
Bangalore skipper, Virat Kohli, says that they would have bowled as well but it is not a bad thing to bat first. States that it will give them freedom to play in the first half and test the opposition batting later on. Feels that the key is to enjoy themselves. Expresses that it has been a great experience to play with his boys. Informs that they have won their last two games and are playing with the same eleven.

0.1 : S Sharma to P Patel, Dropped! Action straightaway! Poor from the fielder! Starts off with a length ball on middle and off, shaping away. Patel pushes it with minimal foot movement towards short cover. Deepak Hooda stationed there dives lazily to his right and makes a mess of a reasonable easy catch. Might prove to be costly.
0.2 : S Sharma to P Patel, Very full on middle and leg, clipped nicely to the man at mid-wicket.
0.3 : S Sharma to P Patel, That is a rarity! Hyderbarad will be thanking the umpire as he has saved three. Straying on the pads, Parthiv whips it beautifully towards the square leg umpire who tries to get out of the way but is hit on the leg. Ouch! A run taken.

Slips in the googly outside off at a quicker pace and gets it to spin in substantially, Kohli reads it correctly and perhaps wants to dominate. What a brilliant batting display from Bangalore! They were up for the challenge from the word go and have given themselves a big cushion. Though the hosts lost two pretty quick wickets, Kohli included, de Villiers was in his elements today and kept on finding the boundaries at will. He gave the momentum to his side and found an able ally in Moeen Ali. They stitched a 107-run stand, going past their fifties in the process. It gave a launching pad to the rest of the batsmen.
Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for Hyderabad and bamboozled the batsmen with his variations. He finished with proud figures of 4-0-27-3. However, the rest of the bowlers traveled the distance. There were some moments of brilliance in the field but there were some errors as well. The runs kept leaking and terrific cameos from de Grandhomme and Sarfaraz ensured that the home side went past the 200-run mark. Hyderabad have a big task on hand and the Bangalore boys will be backing themselve
