1.4 : 1.4: S Narine to de Kock, FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries! This time to the other side of that fielder. This is a little too full on leg stump. De Kock sweeps again and it goes off the inner half through backward square leg.
2.3 : 2.3: M Johnson to B McCullum, FOUR! Slapped! Trademark McCullum. Uses his feet and gets a length ball outside off. He hits it over covers and the ball races away.

8.1 : 8.1: K Yadav to de Kock, OUT! The strategic time out produces a wicket. Kuldeep Yadav breaks the 67-run stand. He bowls a loopy leg spinner on off, de Kock comes down the track and tries to go over covers. The ball however, turns at the last moment it goes off the outer half high up in the air towards sweeper cover. Gill there runs to his left and takes a good catch. A good partnership for Bangalore comes to an end and they have set the platform for the batsmen coming in.
9.5 : 9.5: A Russell to B McCullum, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Two wickets in two overs for Kolkata. The short ball does the trick. It is the bumper on middle, McCullum goes for the pull but it goes off the edge and into the hands of Dinesh Karthik who takes an easy catch. An enterprising innings by McCullum comes to an end but Bangalore are in a spot of bother here.
9.6 : 9.6: A Russell to M Vohra, OUT! Manan Vohra comes and Manan Vohra goes. Second in the over for Russell. He bowls a low full toss on off. 11.5 : 11.5: A Russell to V Kohli, FOUR! Scintillating! Absolutely middled it. A half-volley outside off, it's a juicy one. Kohli leans ahead and drills it off the carpet through extra cover. Not a soul moved there as it blazed away to the fence. But what happened to VK? He seemed to have hurt his right leg after playing that shot.
13.1 : 13.1: M Johnson to V Kohli, FOUR! Superb stuff! He looks so good when he latches one on the up. Johnson serves a fuller delivery outside off, takes the pace off. Virat picks it up and unfurls a cracking cover-drive. No need to run for those.

17.3 : 17.3: A Russell to M Singh, OUT! Mandeep gets caught in the deep! That's the wicket Kolkata dearly needed as they break the 65-run stand. Slower delivery, angling in on middle, Singh waits back and pulls it nicely. However, he doesn't get the desired distance as Shivam Mavi at deep mid-wicket takes a good catch near the rope. Will this slow things down now for the hosts?
17.6 : 17.6: A Russell to V Kohli, SIX! Beautiful! How well has he played that. Wow! Gets underneath a full delivery and whips it in style as the ball sails over the deep mid-wicket fence for half a dozen. 17 from the over and 150 comes up for Bangalore.

7.1 : 7.1: M Ashwin to S Narine, OUT! Murugan Ashwin strikes off his first ball. He is all pumped up. He would have been low after dropping a catch but his confidence will be right up there now. He floats this one up on off, it is in the zone for Narine as he tries to clear long off. He does not get the desired connection and it goes into the hands of de Grandhomme who takes a good catch just ahead of the ropes. A much-needed wicket for Bangalore and they are back into this game. 117 more needed from
7.5 : 7.5: M Ashwin to R Uthappa, SIX! Almost a catch! Once again Ashwin tosses this one up. Uthappa goes downtown. Colin, the fielder there jumps and stretches his right hand out. The ball brushes his fingers and goes over the ropes.
8.4 : 8.4: M Siraj to R Uthappa, FOUR! Poor ball and poor effort in the field also. It is on the pads, Uthappa flicks it towards short fine leg. Mandeep Singh there lets it through his hands and it goes to the fence. That should release the pressure which was building.

11.6 : 11.6: U Yadav to R Uthappa, SIX! It was turning out to be a good over but a biggie on the last ball spoils the good work! Touch short on middle, sits up to be hit and Uthappa swivels a touch and pulls it with authority over deep backward square leg for half a dozen. Moves to 40 with that.
12.2 : 12.2: M Ashwin to R Uthappa, OUT! Robin Uthappa departs without converting a start yet again! Flighted delivery, turning away a touch, Robin Uthappa sits down to play the mighty slog but gets it off the toe end of the bat. It goes straight down the throat of Tim Southee stationed at long on. The breathtaking stand is broken. 68 needed from 46 balls. Is this the turning point of the game?
13.1 : 13.1: Y Chahal to C Lynn, FOUR! He's hit that so, so hard! Flatter delivery to begin the final over, Lynn sits down and nails the sweep through backward square leg. There were two men in the deep but it goes right through them and across the fence. Booming hit!

He seems to be struggling, not sure about the exact reason.

18.5 : 18.5: M Siraj to D Karthik, OUT! What a catch from Virat Kohli. Absolutely stunning but he is fuming from within as he throws the ball back to the umpire after claiming that catch. Back of a length on middle, DK flat-bats it down towards long on. Kohli rushes across to his left, the ball was dying in front of him but he dives forward to snatch it inches above the ground.
19.1 : 19.1: U Yadav to S Gill, FOUR! Shubman Gill adds the finishing touch! He removes the helmet and lets out a huge roar in delight. Lynn walks across to him and the entire Kolkata dugout is pumped. Short of a length delivery outside off, Gill gets on top of the bounce and dispatches it through point for a boundary to seal the deal with 5 balls to spare.
