1.4 : 1.4: U Yadav to J Archer, OUT! The ploy to send Archer has backfired, he has bagged a 4-ball duck! Nothing great about the delivery, it is short and going down the leg side, Archer tries to take advantage of it. Goes for the pull but only manages to get a faint tickle behind. Patel accepts it gleefully and jumps in appeal. The umpire raises his finger and Rajasthan suffer early blow. Yadav has been terrific in the Powerplay and has produced the goods once again, just the start the Men in Red wa
2.4: M Ali to R Tripathi, SIX! That's an audacious shot! What confidence. Takes a big stride and picks it from outside off. Slog sweeps the loose ball with full authority over deep square leg for a biggie.
3.2 : 3.2: U Yadav to A Rahane, FOUR! Sublime! He is a great timer of the ball. Back of a length ball well outside off, Rahane stands tall and caresses it through cover-point to find the fence.
3.4 : 3.4: U Yadav to A Rahane, FOUR! Shot! He is oozing with confidence at the moment. In the arc for Ajinkya, he leans ahead and lifts it nonchalantly over mid on to get the desired result.
3.6 : 3.6: U Yadav to R Tripathi, FOUR! Third boundary of the over! The hosts needed this. On a good length around off, Tripathi picks up the length very quickly and pulls it over wide mid on for a boundary. 13 runs from it.
4.1 : 4.1: Tim Southee to A Rahane, FOUR! Timing at its best! Fuller in length, straying on the pads, Rahane times his clip sweetly. Sends the ball racing across the turf to find the square leg fence.
5.1: Y Chahal to R Tripathi, FOUR! Smart play from Tripathi! He is showing that he belongs at the top of the order. Quicker through the air in line of the stumps, Tripathi comes down the track and goes inside out over extra cover. Picked his gap to perfection.
5.2 : 5.2: Y Chahal to R Tripathi, FOUR! Two in two! Short delivery, slower in pace, allows Rahul to line it up. He rocks back and nails the pull through wide mid on to pick up another boundary.
8.5 : 8.5: U Yadav to R Tripathi, FOUR! Played to perfection! Fullish delivery outside off, Tripathi with a high backlift strokes it over extra cover. Brilliant execution. Even de Villiers in the deep can't do anything about it.
11.6 : 11.6: de Grandhomme to R Tripathi, SIX! Beautiful! Slower delivery on middle and leg, Tripathi skips down the track and hits it clean as a whistle over the bowler's head. It is going, going and just goes over the ropes.
12.3 : 12.3: Y Chahal to R Tripathi, FOUR! Streaky runs but he won't mind! Tossed up delivery, Tripathi goes for a booming drive but gets a thick outside edge through the third man region.
13.1 : 13.1: U Yadav to A Rahane, OUT! No, the impact is umpire's call! Might be a blessing in disguise for the hosts as they need their big hitters to come into play. Good length delivery outside off, angling in, Rahane tries to heave it across the line but is hit on the back pad. The visitors go up in unison and the umpire obliges. Rahane has a chat with Tripathi and decides to take the DRS. The replays roll in. Hawk Eye shows that the impact is umpire's call and it is crashing into the stumps. The
13.2 : 13.2: U Yadav to S Samson, OUT! Gone first ball! Good field placement from Kohli and it has worked wonders. Full length ball attacking the stumps, Samson closes the face of the bat as he attempts to flick but fails to keep it down. Ali is stationed at short mid-wicket and he takes a safe catch. Such a leveller this game is, Sanju scored 93 in the last game against Bangalore and today bags a golden duck.
14.5 : 14.5: M Ali to R Tripathi, SIX! Pristine! Slow through the air outside off, Tripathi puts his dancing shoes on and lofts it over the bowler's head for a maximum. The hosts need many more of these.
15.3 : 15.3: M Siraj to H Klaasen, FOUR! Just misses the stumps! Klaasen comes down the track forcing the bowler to drop it short. He tries to pull it across but gets a thick inside edge that just goes past the stumps and runs down to the fine leg ropes.
15.4 : 15.4: M Siraj to H Klaasen, FOUR! This one is authoritative! Good length ball on off, Klaasen backs away and crunches it on the up through extra cover. The timing is good and he picks up another boundary.
18.2 : 18.2: M Siraj to H Klaasen, SIX! Shot of the highest class from Klaasen, quips an excited Ian Bishop on air! Full delivery outside off, Klaasen carves it away over short third man to clear the ropes.
18.3 : 18.3: M Siraj to H Klaasen, FOUR! Klaasen's mind is functioning like a computer at the moment. Knew that fine leg had come inside the ring and picked his spot. His initial trigger movement is outside off and he also gets a full toss in the arc. He scoops it over short fine leg for a boundary.
18.6 : 18.6: M Siraj to H Klaasen, OUT! The South African holes out! However, it has been a very handy cameo from him. Off cutter on a fullish length outside off, Klaasen swings hard at it but ends up mistiming it towards long off. Ali moves to his right and settles under it safely.
19.2 : 19.2: Tim Southee to K Gowtham, SIX! Boom! Short ball, sits up nicely for Gowtham. He pulls it with aplomb over cow corner and the ball sails into the stands.
19.3 : 19.3: Tim Southee to K Gowtham, SIX! This is what he can do! He has a lot of confidence in his abilities and delivers as well. In the arc for Gowtham outside off. He launches it over long off for back-to-back maximums.
19.6 : 19.6: Tim Southee to K Gowtham, OUT! Full ball outside off, Gowtham tries to carve it away but fails. Takes off for the run. Patel is alert and throws it back to Southee who flicks the bails off at the non-striker's end to catch the batsman short. RAJASTHAN FINISH ON 164/5!
1.1 : 1.1: J Archer to P Patel, SIX! Very nicely played by the little man. Archer bangs in a short ball around off, 144 kph, Patel leans back a bit and just uses the pace of the bowler. Finds the sweet spot of his bat and it flies over third man. Brendon McCullum tries catching it at the dugout but drops.
1.6 : 1.6: J Archer to P Patel, SIX! Patel ends the over in a similar manner he started it. A biggie over third man. A little too straight on this occasion though. Archer continues to bang it in short. This time it's 147.4 kph, Patel ramps it over first slip and it goes all the way. 14 from the over.
2.5 : 2.5: K Gowtham to V Kohli, OUT! Oh, bowled 'em! Kohli was looking itchy at the crease and has eventually departed. Gowtham dishes out a genuine off spinner and delivers it from wide of the crease. It lands just outside off as Kohli comes dancing down the track. He swings his bat aimlessly and gets beaten by the inward spin. The ball goes through to rattle the stumps and Rajasthan taste an early success. A big wicket too. Gowtham is delighted!
3.2 : 3.2: J Archer to de Villiers, FOUR! Begins with a bang! Back of a length ball on middle and leg, de Villiers swipes it away through backward square leg to find the fence.
3.5 : 3.5: J Archer to de Villiers, FOUR! Brilliant! This man is all class. Leg cutter in line of the stumps, de Villiers reads it correctly. Backs away and times his punch through covers to perfection.
3.6 : 3.6: J Archer to de Villiers, FOUR! He is literally toying with the bowling! The ball is coming in at 152.3 clicks on a fullish length on middle. Seems that de Villiers is relishing the pace. Just clips it over wide mid on and the ball races to the fence.
4.3 : 4.3: Ben Laughlin to de Villiers, FOUR! ABD is looking in scintillating form yet again. The bowler there does his best to follow the batsman down the leg side but ends up bowling in his half. It's a slower one but on the fuller side, de Villiers presents the full face of the bat and strokes it back past his partner at the other end for a boundary down the ground.
4.6 : 4.6: Ben Laughlin to P Patel, EDGY FOUR! An off pace delivery wide outside off, 119.2 kph, Patel moves back a bit and attempts to go big over covers. But it catches the top edge and goes towards third man for a boundary. 10 from the over!
5.3 : 5.3: J Unadkat to P Patel, Samson nearly takes a ripper... FOUR! A good length ball angling into the batsman, around off, Patel heaves it across the line and it flies in front of square leg. Samson in the deep charges a bit and then realizes that it's going over his head. Jumps to catch the ball with his right hand but fails to keep hold of it. The ball slips out and meets the fence.
5.5 : 5.5: J Unadkat to P Patel, FOUR! Too full and on off, Patel camps back to make room and drills it through the gap between mid off and extra cover for a boundary.
7.1 : 7.1: Ish Sodhi to de Villiers, FOUR! Innovates and innovates nicely! Starts off with a tossed up ball outside off, de Villiers is aware of the field and reverse sweeps it through third man to pick up a boundary.
7.2 : 7.2: Ish Sodhi to de Villiers, FOUR! Poor misfield in the deep by Archer! A short delivery by Ish Sodhi, as expected after the last boundary, de Villiers anticipates it, goes deep inside the crease and hammers his pull to deep mid-wicket. Archer in the deep does the hard work of getting to the ball but while picking it up, it slips from his hands and embraces the rope. Rajasthan cannot afford this! 50-run stand comes up.
8.3 : 8.3: S Gopal to P Patel, OUT! Stumped! Good work by Klaasen there. A flatter delivery around off, skidding away and staying low as well. Patel gets back to cut but misses and loses his balance a bit in the process. The keeper does well to collect the ball and takes the bails off in a flash. He appeals and then starts to celebrate. Parthiv watches his back leg and then he starts to walk back. The replays roll in and they find that Patel's back leg is on the crease. Nothing behind it and Bangalore
8.6 : 8.6: S Gopal to M Ali, OUT! Another over in this match which has accounted for two wickets. This has turned the momentum in Rajasthan's favour, although with AB de Villiers at the other end, they just cannot afford to relax. A flighted full ball around leg, probably a googly, Moeen draws forward, trying to work across the line maybe but ends up chipping a straightforward catch back to the bowler. Gowtham leaps to his left and catches the ball easily. A potentially game changing over.
10.3 : 10.3: S Gopal to M Singh, OUT! Brain fade, have to say. You have AB de Villiers at the other end, what's the need to try anything fancy. Just rotate the strike and give the master opportunity to do the rest. But no, Mandeep probably wanted to end this game with one shot. He steps out to a leg spinning delivery, it lands outside off and keeps leaving him as he attempts to loft it over covers. Misses the ball completely and Klaasen this time has a simple stumping to do. Bangalore in a bit of bothe
11.2 : 11.2: Ish Sodhi to de Villiers, FOUR! Fifty for AB de Villiers, his 27th in the League! But he will know that his job is far from finish. Sodhi is on the shorter side around off, AB gets across and nails his pull through mid-wicket for a boundary.
11.6 : 11.6: Ish Sodhi to de Grandhomme, OUT! What are they doing? Colin falls this time. He attempts to play a booming cover drive. But it's a strategically bowled leg spinner which curves away after landing and takes the outside half of the blade. Rahane, arguably the best slip fielder in India, is stationed there and the rest is history. Another one bites the dust and the Rajasthan spinners are ruling the roost. 69 needed off 48 balls.
12.4 : 12.4: S Gopal to de Villiers, OUT! Oh dear, if you are a Bangalore fan, this is the last sight you want to witness - AB de Villiers walking off the park! Gopal, you beauty. Serves a googly which has not been picked by the South African. He gets forward with a big stride and tries to whip it across the line. But he fails to put bat to ball and Klaasen is lightning quick to dislodge the bails. The Rajasthan players are running in celebration. They know the importance of this wicket. Bangalore are
14.2 : 14.2: J Unadkat to S Khan, FOUR! A very good shot! Unadkat bowls it on a good length and outside off, Khan stays back and clobbers it over the gap between extra cover and mid off.
15.1 : 15.1: Ben Laughlin to S Khan, OUT! Klaasen is having a ball behind the stumps. He takes a stunning diving catch this time. Laughlin hurls an off cutter around off, a bit on the shorter side, Sarfaraz tries to be cheeky with his little dab but ends up getting a thick outside edge behind. Klaasen dives full length to his right to take a one-handed catch. Stunning. Rajasthan are all over Bangalore like a rash.
15.2 : 15.2: Ben Laughlin to U Yadav, OUT! Two in two and the Aussie takes a leap of joy. Disappointment written all over the face of Kohli who is sitting in the dugout. No cutters or slower ones by Laughlin, a tailender is there and Ben goes full throttle with his speed. Angles in a 134 kph delivery, right in the line of the stumps, Umesh swings and misses to find his stumps shattered. On a hat-trick, Laughlin.
15.5 : 15.5: Ben Laughlin to M Siraj, FOUR! Slower short ball this time, on middle at 117.9 kph, Siraj stands back and pulls it through square leg for a boundary.
16.6 : 16.6: J Archer to Tim Southee, DROPPED AND FOUR! Archer delivers a full toss as Southee gives the charge. He slaps right back and Archer fails to take the return catch. It goes through his hands, beats mid off and races away to the fence.
17.2 : 17.2: J Unadkat to Tim Southee, FOUR! That's a lovely shot! A slower length ball around off, Southee picks it early, shuffles across a bit and heaves it through mid-wicket for a boundary.
17.6 : 17.6: J Unadkat to Tim Southee, OUT! Southee holes out! Unadkat delivers a slower one outside off, on a length, Southee fetches it from there and tries to clear the cow corner field. Fails to get enough power behind the shot and Gowtham takes the catch safely. End is nigh for Bangalore.
19.1 : 19.1: J Unadkat to M Siraj, FOUR! Unadkat angles in a length ball around off, Siraj reverse sweeps it past the short third man fielder for a boundary.
19.2 : 19.2: J Unadkat to M Siraj, OUT! BANGALORE ARE KNOCKED OUT! Unadkat angles in a slower length ball around off, Siraj tries to heave it over mid-wicket but gets more height than distance. Samson from deep square leg and Gowtham from deep mid-wicket rush towards the chance. The former goes for the catch but it pops out from his hands at the last moment. However, the latter has it covered. He takes it on the rebound to put a full stop to Bangalore's campaign. RAJASTHAN WIN BY 30 RUNS! Amazing victo
