Ireland have made 2 changes while New Zealand have made 4 changes from their previous game. For the hosts - Craig Young and Simi Singh replace Tim Murtagh and Kevin O'Brien. For the Kiwis - Corey Anderson, Adam Milne, Matt Henry and Scott Kuggeleijn come in for George Worker, Jimmy Neesham, Seth Rance, Hamish Bennett.

A carnage is what we got to witness by New Zealand! They have racked up a humongous total on the board after being put into bat. It all started with Ronchi at the top along with the skipper and together they stitched a 70-run stand and provided a breezy start. The keeper got out early but the skipper stayed for a bit and kept on threading fruitful stands with Broom and Taylor. Latham departed immediately after scoring a ton and then it was Taylor who carried the ship forward. Towards the end it
Ireland bowlers got a serious beating at the hands of the Kiwi batsmen. All their pacers were taken for runs and just couldn't stop the bleeding. Their spinners Dockrell and Singh did manage to dry up the runs in the middle overs with the latter being the standout of all as apart from him everyone suffered.
