He bowls his special knuckle ball around middle, shapes in a touch. Munro tries to flick but gets an inside edge onto his pads and then onto the stumps. He was struggling against the inswingers and that has brought his downfall.

29.1 : 29.1: A Patel to Tom Latham, OUT! Tha change of angle for Patel has done the trick! Latham's luck has finally ran out. Axar fires it full on leg stump. Latham once again goes for the sweep shot which he has been playing so well. He goes to across this time and misses the ball completely and the ball hits the middle pole. The 60-run stand which was looking good for New Zealand has come to an end. The centurion in the last game has not had the same impact in this game.

47.6 : 47.6: B Kumar to M Santner, FOUR! This is frustrating for Kumar! He lands it on a length on middle, Santner goes for the heave but gets an inside edge past the leg stump and down to the fine leg fence.

4.1: Tim Southee to S Dhawan, FOUR! Delightful! Back of a length ball outside off, Dhawan stands tall and times his punch to perfection through cover-point to pick up another boundary.
4.3 : 4.3: Tim Southee to R Sharma, OUT! Soft dismissal! Rohit must be really disappointed with himself. Fullish delivery on the pads, Sharma goes for the flick but the balance is not quite there. As a result, he is not able to keep the ball down. Colin Munro at squarish short mid-wicket pouches it safely at chest height. Ideal start for New Zealand.

He stands his ground and hammers it with a strong bottom hand over wide long on for a maximum. That was struck very powerfully. The 50-run stand comes up between the duo. Sensible going from them.
