Mentions that Alex Hales is injured so Dawid Malan comes in his place, which means that Joe Root will play at no.3 and Ben Stokes at 4. States that Root is a quality player who sets high standards for himself, and he's hungry to score runs after a quiet summer so far.

England are all out within their 50 overs. Something they would have not thought of, especially after making a record 481 the last time they batted here. Excellent stuff from the Indians.
The English openers started off well and got them to a good start. This is interesting, they both made 38 off 35 balls and got out to Kuldeep. The hosts then lost quick wickets but Buttler and Stokes gave them some hope with a 93-run stand. The duo got to their respective fifties but Ben ate up a lot of balls which is unlike him. Towards the end, Adil Rashid scored some vital boundaries which helped England post a fighting total on the board.
India were excellent in the field. They bowled perfect lines at the start and didn't allow any of the Englishmen to get under them. The spin twins, known as 'Kulcha' did their work in the middle overs. The visitors got back in the game well after the openers took off, thanks to one man - Kuldeep Yadav. The chinaman got his first 6-wicket haul in ODIs and the home team didn't have an answer to his bowling. Umesh picked up two wickets at the death and ensured that England did not cross the 270-mar
