Match over
0.0 : Hello and welcome everyone for the third match of the tri-series between Bangladesh and New Zealand in Castle Avenue, Dublin. The Asian team shared points in their first game because of the match getting called off due to the rain and would be itching to get out there and gain 4 points from this match. However, they will be up against New Zealand who won their last match and looked quite balanced in spite of missing some key players. Today will be a different challenge though as the Bangla Tiger
Weather report - The sun is out at the moment but the forecast later on is for some rain interruptions.
Pitch report - The pitch has an even covering of grass and it will nip around a little bit for the seamers. 270-280 will be a good score here, reckons Owais Shah. Team winning the toss will definitely want to put the opposition in.
Toss - Mashrafe Mortaza is back after serving his ban for slow over-rates. He comes out for the toss along with Tom Latham. Up goes the coin, New Zealand win it and ELECT TO FIELD! Both teams have one change each. New Zealand bring in Hamish Bennett for Scott Kuggeleijn. For Bangladesh, Mortaza has replaced Taskin Ahmed.

A hard-fought win for New Zealand! They strengthen their positions at the top of the points table. Chasing a target of 258, Luke Ronchi provided a brisk start along with his skipper Tom Latham. All the Kiwi batsmen got starts but they failed to carry on and make it count. But those knocks made sure that the run chase always remained on track.
The match was hanging in the balance when Ross Taylor was removed by Mustafizur Rahman. But then came the match winning partnership between Jimmy Neesham and Neil Broom. The former stroked a fluent half century, while the latter after an initial struggle went on to hit 48. Colin Munro finished things off towards the end to see the Kiwis home.
Bangladesh won't be too pleased with their bowling effort. They conceded runs at a brisk pace and failed to create much pressure. New Zealand were reduced to 4/147 at one stage but the Bangla bowlers failed to capitalize from thereon. The spinners weren't effective on a pitch assisting them. Altogether, they would like to get more clinical with their bowling.
Mashrafe Mortaza says that the bowling up front could have been a little better. Adds that batting wise they were a few runs short. Considers the batting of Sarkar and Mahmudullah as the positives. Also praises the top order for providing a good start and Mustafizur Rahman for his effective bowling. Feels that they need to improve their overall game.
Tom Latham says that the way they chased down the total was pleasing. He is really happy with the way they got the partnerships going. Admits that their fielding was a bit sloppy and this is one area they need to improve. Praises Hamish Bennett for his fine bowling, especially at the death.
Man of the Match, Jimmy Neesham says that as an all-rounder he should be contributing with both bat and ball. Feels they restricted Bangladesh to a below par total. Adds that the conditions will be similar in England and it's a good preparation for them before the Champions Trophy.
That's all from this game. We look forward to your company on 19th May for the fourth match of the tri-series involving Ireland and Bangladesh at Malahide, Dublin. Do join us at 1045 local (0945 GMT) for all the action. Cheers!
