2.2 : 2.2: M Hafeez to D Warner, FOUR! TOP SHOT! Tossed up outside off, Warner stays in his crease and hoists that one over the cover region. That's a boundary and Warner has started to get a move on.
3.1 : 3.1: M Amir to U Khawaja, FOUR! SUCH GOOD TIMING AND PLACEMENT! Angling into the body, Khawaja stays in his crease and glances it through the mid-wicket region. Once it crosses the infield it was always going for a boundary. Imad Wasim could have done better. Four runs.

4.4 : 4.4: J Khan to D Warner, FOUR! GOOD SHOT! Length ball outside off, Warner waits for it and cuts it elegantly through the point region for the second boundary of the over. Warner is looking alarming for Pakistan.
5.3 : 5.3: M Amir to D Warner, SIX! THAT'S GONE THE DISTANCE! Short ball into the body, Warner pounces on it and pulls it. The ball does not make great contact with the meat of the bat but it is still enough to cross the ropes. That's brutal from Warner.
6.1 : 6.1: J Khan to D Warner, FOUR! WIDTH AND WARNER SAYS THANK YOU! Outside off, Warner cuts it elegantly through the point region for a boundary. Every fielder could just stand and applaud there. Warner is cruising with the bat.
10.1: J Khan to D Warner, FOUR! WHAT TIMING! Good length delivery outside off, Warner stays deep in his crease and just guides it past the point region. The perfect timing made it difficult for any fielder to stop that ball. Warner is having his day once again at the SCG.
17.2 : 17.2: H Ali to U Khawaja, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Length ball outside off, Khawaja goes for a drive but this time does not middle it. The ball catches the outside edge of the bat and goes behind the stumps for a catch. Rizwan dives to his left and gathers it. Ali has drawn first blood out here.
17.3 : 17.3: H Ali to S Smith, FOUR! FORM CONTINUES! Seems like he is continuing from where he left at last time. Bowled on the pads, Smith clips it through square leg to get off the mark with a boundary.
21.2 : 21.2: J Khan to D Warner, FOUR! Great shot from David Warner. He finds the gap and finds the boundary too. Fuller outside off, the southpaw drives it off the middle right through the covers. It rockets away to the fence. Beautifully played, that.

22.3 : 22.3: M Hafeez to D Warner, FOUR! Hafeez drags the length back on this and bowls this short, it's on the stumps as Warner rocks back to this. Muscles the pull over mid-wicket and sends it across the rope for back-to-back boundaries.

35.3 : 35.3: H Ali to D Warner, OUT! Finally Pakistan take a catch and it's a good one by Mohammad Rizwan. It's fired on a fuller length well outside off, Warner backs away as he makes some room for himself and looks to smash it through the off side. Ends up getting an edge which flies behind. Rizwan dives low to his left and takes an excellent catch. Another wicket down and it's an important one for Pakistan.
35.5 : 35.5: H Ali to S Smith, OUT! HE'S GONE! Hasan Ali with his second of the over. He's dismissed the two big fishes in the space of 3 balls. He comes running in and angles in a length ball on middle and leg, Smith shuffles too far across to flick it away but misses and is rapped on the pads. The visitors go up in a loud appeal and this time the umpire raises his finger. Smith isn't convinced though and after speaking with his partner, reviews the decision. The replays show the ball to be clipping
38.1 : 38.1: I Wasim to G Maxwell, SIX! HERE COMES THE BIG SHOW! Maxwell changes his stance and Wasim fires it on the stumps. Maxwell gets under it and reverse sweeps it for a biggie. He cannot connect the normal shots well but he has timed this well to perfection.
40.5 : 40.5: I Wasim to G Maxwell, FOUR! MAXY ACT! Tossed up and Glenn hammers it down the ground over the bowler's head for a boundary. Sheer brute force here.

44.1 : 44.1: M Amir to G Maxwell, FOUR! Back of a length around off, Maxwell stands tall and smacks it over Amir's head to send it across the boundary line. Powerfully hit.
44.4 : 44.4: M Amir to G Maxwell, FOUR! It's in the air but it's just wide of the diving Pakistan captain. Maxwell lofts this to the left of Azhar Ali at mid off. Azhar dives full stretch to his left but the ball just beats him. Races away to the fence for a boundary.
45.4: J Khan to T Head, SIX! Travis Head has really got a hold of that, hasn't he? It's in the slot for him and he's not going to miss out on it. Stands his ground and slogs it well over the mid-wicket boundary for half a dozen.

46.2 : 46.2: M Amir to T Head, SIX! Seeing Head walk down the track, Amir shortens the length but Travis doesn't care. He muscles the pull shot over the mid-wicket boundary for a biggie. Brings up his fifty with that and the 100-run stand is up as well.
46.3 : 46.3: M Amir to T Head, OUT! This time the catch is taken. Think we need to put it out in the press. Short and on the body. Head pulls it over square leg but he doesn't get the distance on it. 48.2 : 48.2: J Khan to G Maxwell, FOUR! Great use of the wrists from Maxwell. He brings that bottom hand into play and flicks it over square leg. Gets a boundary to his name as he does so.
48.5 : 48.5: J Khan to G Maxwell, FOUR! That's a ridiculous shot. Yorker from Junaid, well outside off, Maxwell makes room and squeezes it out behind square on the off side. Gets it over point and picks up a boundary.
48.6 : 48.6: J Khan to G Maxwell, FOUR! BANG! Goes for the yorker but misses his mark completely. Ends up bowling a full toss around off and it's hit down to long off. Too powerful a hit and it goes across the rope.
49.1 : 49.1: H Ali to M Wade, OUT! Full on middle and off, Wade looks to clear the long on fence. Doesn't exactly get underneath it and ends it lofting it straight into the hands of Imad Wasim who makes no mistake in taking it.
49.2 : 49.2: H Ali to G Maxwell, FOUR! Another misfield, this time it's by Shoaib Malik. Atrocious. Short and around off, Maxwell pulls it down to long on. There was no pressure whatsoever at all but Malik still lets it go through. Boundary!
49.4 : 49.4: H Ali to G Maxwell, FOUR! Poor line and it's been punished. On the pads, Maxwell clips it past the diving short fine leg fielder for a boundary.

49.6 : 49.6: H Ali to G Maxwell, OUT! Sharjeel Khan finally takes a catch but it's a little too late. Hasan Ali picks up a 5-fer. Full on the stumps, Maxwell whips this over square leg. But it's straight into the hands of Sharjeel who somehow manages to hold on to this one. So, with that, AUSTRALIA FINISH ON 353/6!

But he does not find the desired contact and mistimes it towards wide of long on. Hazlewood covers some distance to his right and takes a fine. Azam was looking good but he has to go back without causing much damage.
14.3 : 14.3: A Zampa to S Khan, FOUR! That was in the air for a long while but it fell just short of the fielder. Sharjeel rocks back and pulls it over mid-wicket. Travis Head runs inside and dives to try and catch it but it falls just short of him. Goes through and that will be a boundary.

He goes to slog it over the mid-wicket region for a biggie but cannot find the desired contact. The ball in the air and there comes the centurion who runs to his right to cover some distance and take a beautiful catch at the boundary. 35.4 : 35.4: T Head to S Malik, SIX! Tossed up outside off, Malik dances down the track and hoists this straight down the ground. That went high in the air. Maxwell on the boundary dives outside to reach for it but cannot get his hand to it. That's a maximum.

He's gone.
