Hazlewood angles in a fuller length ball on middle and off, Hafeez gets across the stumps a bit in an attempt to flick it but misses and is rapped on the pads. They appeal and the finger goes up immediately. Hafeez decides not to review it and it's a good call. The replays confirm that it was plumb.
4.5 : 4.5: J Hazlewood to B Azam, FOUR! Beautifully done! That's how to flick it. Full and angling in, Azam takes his front leg forward and across before clipping it off his pads through mid-wicket. Fine timing and it races through the gap.
13.2 : 13.2: T Head to S Khan, FOUR! Short and wide outside off, Khan cuts it elegantly through the point region. A misfield inside the ring by Cummins and it races through for a boundary.
14.2: Pat Cummins to B Azam, FOUR! Wide outside off, Azam throws his bat at it and he finds an inside edge which goes past the stumps for a boundary.
15.3 : 15.3: T Head to S Khan, FOUR! Short and outside off, Sharjeel gets back and smacks it through backward point. Warner in the deep tries his best to cut it off with a dive, but fails to do so. A boundary.
15.4 : 15.4: T Head to S Khan, FOUR! Sharjeel is motoring! Head drags his length short again, it's around off and Khan hammers it off his back foot to wide long on. The fielder in the deep moves across to his left but fails to stop it.
15.5 : 15.5: T Head to S Khan, EDGY FOUR! Fortune favours the brave! Short again by Head and this time Khan edges his attempted square cut past the keeper and short third man fielder. A boundary and it's fifty for Sharjeel.
15.6 : 15.6: T Head to S Khan, OUT! Drags it on! Head persists with short delivery, lands it close to the off stump line and once again Sharjeel tries to cut it through the line. However, this time he gets a massive inside edge and it cannon onto the stumps. Australia get a breakthrough and it's the dangerous Sharjeel dismissed.
19.6: T Head to A Shafiq, OUT! Tossed up outside off, Shafiq comes dancing down the track and goes to heave it on the leg side. The ball catches the outside edge and flies towards short third man. Usman Khawaja takes a simple catch there and Pakistan have lost their third wicket.

23.3 : 23.3: T Head to S Malik, SIX! CLASSY! That had beauty written all over it. Tossed up and Malik was quick to get off the blocks and hoist the ball down the ground for a biggie. That ball went high and far in the stands.
25.3: T Head to B Azam, FOUR! Calculated risk! Tossed up ball around off, Babar advances down the track, knows mid off is up and goes over the fielder inside the ring for a boundary.
25.5 : 25.5: T Head to S Malik, FOUR! Good shot! Head drags his length short and Malik rocks back to hammer-pull it over mid-wicket for a boundary.

35.6 : 35.6: T Head to B Azam, SIX! WHAT-A-SHOT! Tossed up, Azam slog sweeps it handsomely over the mid-wicket region for a maximum. That's a good way to end Head's spell.

42.1 : 42.1: J Hazlewood to B Azam, OUT! Handscomb takes a stunner! Hazlewood digs in a short ball around off and Azam takes on the challenge to pull it. He however fails to middle it and the ball goes in the air towards deep square leg. Handscomb in the deep reacts quickly, runs and dives forward to snap the catch inches above the surface. 44.3 : 44.3: Pat Cummins to I Wasim, FOUR! SMART SHOT! Short and wide outside off, Wasim plays it late and guides it to the third man fence for a boundary.
45.3: J Hazlewood to U Akmal, OUT! AKMAL DEPARTS! Hazlewood sees Akmal walking down the track and he digs it a bit short in the process. Around middle, Akmal finds the ball really short and close to his body and hence attempts to fend it away. Ends up gloving it straight into the hands of Wade for a really simple catch. Just when it seemed Akmal was on the move, he has to walk back.
46.1 : 46.1: Pat Cummins to I Wasim, OUT! ANOTHER WICKET! Length ball outside off, Wasim tries to make some room and have a go over the cover region but cannot find the required contact. The ball balloons up after catching the slice of the bat and Head who is at mid off covers a good distance going towards his right and takes a stupendous catch. Wasim has to depart.
48.2 : 48.2: Pat Cummins to M Rizwan, FOUR! INNOVATIVE! Length ball outside off, Rizwan shuffles across and scoops it behind the keeper for a boundary. That nearly went the distance at fine leg.
0.2 : 0.2: M Hafeez to D Warner, FOUR! Once again Hafeez is on the shorter side outside off, Warner rocks back and cuts it off the outer half of the bat. It runs wide of backward point and beats the chase put in by Amir.
2.3 : 2.3: M Hafeez to U Khawaja, FOUR! Fine footwork by Khawaja, he walks down to the pitch of the delivery and lofts it cleanly over mid-wicket for a boundary. Lovely shot.
3.1 : 3.1: M Amir to D Warner, FOUR! Fast hands of Warner on display! Amir is a bit on the shorter side around off, Warner goes on the back foot and guides it with supreme timing through covers for a boundary.

6.6 : 6.6: J Khan to U Khawaja, FOUR! Excellent shot! A fractionally overpitched ball on off, Khawaja gets behind the line with a straight bat and caresses it past the diving mid off fielder for a boundary.
8.1 : 8.1: J Khan to D Warner, FOUR! A mishit but still a boundary! A fractionally short ball on off, Warner tries to pull it through mid-wicket but gets it away off the inside edge of the bat. It races through square leg as Wasim gives the chase. However, the ball wins the race.
8.6 : 8.6: J Khan to D Warner, OUT! Junaid strikes and Warner is out of here! He serves a length ball outside off and it holds its line after landing, Warner camps back to force it through the line but gets a faint nick behind to the keeper. Rizwan makes no mistake and Pakistan finally get a breakthrough. End of an itchy stay for Warner. Junaid is all smiles. This is a big breakthrough.
9.4 : 9.4: M Amir to U Khawaja, OUT! Khawaja departs! Amir lets out a fuller length ball wide outside off, a hint of inward swing there, Khawaja goes chasing at it in an attempt to play the cover drive but gets an inside edge behind to the keeper. Once again Rizwan takes a regulation catch and Australia have lost both their openers now.
16.2 : 16.2: I Wasim to S Smith, FOUR! Quick hands! Short in length and outside off, Smith goes deep inside the crease and cracks it through backward point for a boundary.
16.3 : 16.3: I Wasim to S Smith, FOUR! Back to back boundaries from the bat of the Australian skipper! Flighted and full on middle, Smith shimmies down the track and whips it through mid-wicket for a boundary.

25.6 : 25.6: I Wasim to P Handscomb, FOUR! Good calculated risk taken by Peter Handscomb. He shimmies down to the pitch of the delivery and flicks it in the air over mid-wicket. Doesn't try to hit it hard, just places his drop kick superbly and finds the fence.
30.6: S Malik to P Handscomb, FOUR! Well placed! Tossed up ball on middle, Peter goes down on one knee and nails his sweep shot. Finds the gap wide of square leg and it speeds away to the fence. 10 runs off the over!

Hasan digs in a short ball on off, Handscomb gets across the stumps to play the pull shot but gets it away off the gloves. The ball balloons in the air, Rizwan rushes across to his left and completes the catch with a full length dive. End of a 183-run stand. Not celebrating too much, Pakistan. Understandably so. 36 runs needed off 65 balls.
