Drew Barrymore in talks to produce 'The Heist Society'

Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is in talks to produce a film based on the book The Heist Society along with Warner Bros.

The Heist Society, published last year by Hyperion books, revolves around a teenage girl balancing school and her family's criminal activities.

In the novel, the story is triggered by powerful mobster being robbed of his priceless art collection -- with the girl's father as the main suspect -- and the protagonist responding by assembling a crew to steal it back, reports variety.com.

Barrymore has previously produced films like How to Be Single and He's Just Not That into You.
