First photos of ‘Surya tilak’ of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya

On the occasion of Ram Navami on Wednesday, April 1‘Surya tilak’ of Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya was done.
At exactly noon on Ram Navami, a ray of the Sun or a ‘surya tilak’ illuminated the forehead of the Ram Lalla idol.
Under the project, sunlight was brought on the forehead of Lord Ram at noon on Shri Ram Navami.
The 'Surya tilak' of the deity has been made possible by an elaborate mechanism involving mirrors and lenses.
The celebrations marked the first big religious occasion after the consecration of Ram Lalla in January this year.

A huge rush of devotees is being witnessed in Ayodhya on the occasion of Ram Navami and the Ram temple doors were opened for pilgrims at 3:30 am
