Commentary :
0.0 : Hello and a warm welcome for the first of the 4-match T20I series between West Indies and Pakistan. The visitors have quite a few new faces who will want to impose themselves and cement a place in the side. They also have a couple of players who are making a comeback into the team after a brief layoff.
The hosts, on the other hand, will want to seek revenge for the series which took place in UAE earlier last year. With two of the most unpredictable sides locking horns with each other, it should be a gripping contest of cricket. Join us for the toss.
Pitch Report - Ian Bishop doing the pitch report says that there is no live grass on the pitch. Opines that the deck has been rolled really hard. Feels that it should be a good batting surface as he expects the ball to come onto the bat. States that the boundaries are 75 metres far. Ends by saying that it should be a high scoring game.
TOSS - PAKISTAN WIN THE TOSS AND ELECT TO BOWL FIRST. So there are two debutants in the match, one for each team. Rovman Powell makes his T20I debut for West Indies. While, Shadab Khan makes his international debut for Pakistan.
Sarfraz Ahmed says that they would like to chase in this game. When asked about firepower in the side, he says that there is enough in the team. Opines that with Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez back in the side, experience should not be a problem. States that Imad Wasim and Sohail Tanvir are also back in the team. Mentions that they have prepared quite well for the last two days and hopes that they do well.
Carlos Brathwaite says he wanted to bat first and put some runs on the board. States the pitch should not deteriorate too much and should be good for batting. Adds they are confident as they are at home and can only take care of their own game. Mentions Jason Mohammed and Jerome Taylor have been left out.

19.4 : S Tanvir to J Holder, Beaten again! Excellent from Sohail Tanvir. Takes the pace off it once again and deceives the batsman well. Holder looks to go big downtown but fails to connect.
19.5 : S Tanvir to J Holder, DROPPED AND FOUR! Poor from Hasan Ali, did not anticipate the ball well at all. Jason Holder pulls this short ball over square leg. Hasan Ali out in the deep comes running in first and tries to settle himself under the ball but fails to do so. He spills it behind, it falls just inside the rope and that will be a boundary.
19.6 : S Tanvir to J Holder, OUT! And that's the end of the innings! Jason Holder lofts this length ball on the stumps towards mid off where Mohammad Hafeez takes the simplest of catches. WEST INDIES FINISH ON 111/8!
Powerful hitting from Carlos Brathwaite in the end has helped the hosts cross the 100-run mark. It all started in the third over of the match when Ahmed Shehzad took the first wicket with a stunning run out to send back Lewis. None of the other top five batsmen could make a difference there. Pollard stayed in the crease for some time but departed when his team needed him the most in the final overs.
Brathwaite, on the other end, stayed till the end and played a vital cameo where he scored 34 runs off 27 balls. Jason Holder gave him company in the end. The young leg-spinner Shadab Khan had a wonderful outing on his international debut as he did wonders for his team by returning with figures of 4-0-7-3! All the other bowlers gave him company and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals.
Sometimes a total such as this can be a deceptive one but West Indies have to pull out something special from the hat if they wish to win this. Join us in a while as Pakistan come out for the chase.
