0.4 : 0.4: M Ali to D Warner, FOUR! Warner is up and running straightaway. Tossed up delivery on off and middle, Warner goes inside out and lofts it over covers. The ball bounces just inside the rope and goes for a boundary.
0.6 : 0.6: M Ali to J Bairstow, FOUR! Make that 14 from the first one and it is an excellent start here for Hyderabad. Shorter outside off, Jonny cuts it through point to finish the over with a boundary. 3 boundaries already and it's only been one over.
1.1 : 1.1: U Yadav to D Warner, SIX! First of the innings! Starts the over with a full ball outside off, Warner was ready for it. He keeps his right leg out and lofts it straight over the bowler's head for a maximum.
2.5 : 2.5: Y Chahal to D Warner, FOUR! Make that 10. Shorter and on off, Warner gets on his back foot and slams it through covers for a boundary.
3.4 : 3.4: M Siraj to J Bairstow, FOUR! Bairstow is not holding back here! Short ball on the ribs, Jonny pulls it up and over mid-wicket. There was no fielder in the deep and it rolls to the fence.
3.5 : 3.5: M Siraj to J Bairstow, FOUR! Lucky! A half tracker outside off, Bairstow looks to slap it but gets a thick outside edge which goes straight to the third man fence.
4.5: U Yadav to J Bairstow, FOUR! Bairstow looks in the mood today. Good length delivery outside off, Bairstow smokes this through point and gets a boundary. Flying start for Hyderabad. 50 up in the fifth over with that boundary.
5.2 : 5.2: M Siraj to J Bairstow, FOUR! Mistimed but safe! Length ball outside off, Bairstow looks to hit over the top but mistimes it over mid-off as his one hand came off the bat. The ball was just over mid off and he gives it a chase but fails to stop it.
5.3 : 5.3: M Siraj to J Bairstow, FOUR! Cracking shot! No stopping those. Bairstow is hitting them clean here. Full ball outside off, Bairstow punches it off the back foot and through the point region for a boundary.
8.2 : 8.2: Ray Barman to J Bairstow, SIX! Don't even bother looking that one is out of here. Floated on off, Bairstow smacks this over covers for a maximum.
8.3 : 8.3: Ray Barman to J Bairstow, FOUR! Pressure on the young Barman. Tossed up on off, Bairstow slams it wide of long on for a boundary. The fielder at long on puts in a good effort but cannot stop it.
8.4 : 8.4: Ray Barman to J Bairstow, FOUR! Fifty for Jonny Bairstow. His first in the Indian T20 League. What a knock this has been from the Englishman. No respite for Barman. Jonny paddles this floated delivery on leg, fine of fine leg to get to the landmark with a boundary.
9.3 : 9.3: de Grandhomme to J Bairstow, SIX! MIGHTY! That's a pull and it goes straight into the stands. De Grandhomme bowls it short and on middle, Bairstow was ready for it, he rocks back and pulls it handsomely over the square leg fence.
9.4 : 9.4: de Grandhomme to J Bairstow, SIX! Amazing shot! Short of a length delivery, Bairstow pulls it over mid-wicket for a maximum. Jonny is on fire here. Consecutive sixes here for him. He looks all set for a hundred, but can he reach there?
10.4: M Ali to D Warner, SIX! Just over! Full toss on middle and off, Warner makes room and lofts it over long on. Hetmyer in the deep is well inside the ropes and runs to his right. He jumps but does not get a hand to it and the ball sails over the fence for a maximum. Had Hetmyer been on the edge of the boundary this might well have been a catch.
11.1 : 11.1: U Yadav to J Bairstow, FOUR! Boundary to begin with. Yadav starts with a short ball on leg, Bairstow clears his left leg and pulls it behind square leg for a boundary.
11.2 : 11.2: U Yadav to J Bairstow, SIX! MAXIMUM! His fourth six here! Another short ball on off, Bairstow pulls it and over long on for a six.
11.6 : 11.6: U Yadav to J Bairstow, FOUR! DRIVEN and driven hard! Full ball outside off, Bairstow prods forward and drives it superbly through the covers for a boundary. The fielder in the deep was nowhere near the ball.
12.4 : 12.4: Ray Barman to J Bairstow, SIX! Are there fielders fielding in this game? Flighted on off, Bairstow comes down the track, takes it on a full toss and smokes it over the mid-wicket fence for a maximum. Bairstow into the 90's.
13.2 : 13.2: Y Chahal to D Warner, SIX! FLAT as it could be! Short and pitching on middle, Warner moves across and pulls it flat and over wide long on for another maximum.
13.5 : 13.5: Y Chahal to J Bairstow, FOUR! Another boundary in this over for Bairstow! He is not sparing any bowler here. Chahal bowls it shorter, Bairstow rocks back and pulls it to wide deep mid-wicket for a boundary. Onto 96 now. Just a boundary away. Can he do it in this over itself?
15.2 : 15.2: Ray Barman to J Bairstow, SIX! Continues the big hitting! Quicker leg spinner on middle, Bairstow dances down the track and lofts it flat over long on for a maximim. Sixth maximum for him.
15.4 : 15.4: Ray Barman to D Warner, FOUR! Warner in the act now. Goes for the sweep on this leg spinner turning in, gets it of the inner half and the ball rolls to fine leg for a boundary.
15.6 : 15.6: Ray Barman to J Bairstow, SIX! What a shot that is! Ray Barman bowls a half tracker to end his spell and Bairstow was early to read it. He rocks back and slogs it flat and straight over the bowler's head for a maximum. That's not a good start for the debutant. He goes for 56 in his 4 overs.
16.2 : 16.2: Y Chahal to J Bairstow, OUT! Finally Bangalore get the breakthrough. Some respite for the bowler and a breathtaking innings from Bairstow comes to an end. It took a very good catch from Umesh Yadav to bring an end to this mammoth partnership. Credit has to be given to Chahal too. He shows courage and tosses it up on off, Bairstow looks to sweep but gets a top edge to it. Umesh Yadav from point runs forward, dives in front and takes good catch. Bangalore and the crowd here in Hyderabad hav
16.3 : 16.3: Y Chahal to V Shankar, SIX! THAT IS HUGE! Amazing shot from Shankar. Floated on middle, Shankar lofts this over long on for a biggie. Nice way to get off the mark in style.
17.2 : 17.2: M Siraj to D Warner, SIX! 200 up for Hyderabad. It is in the slot for Warner, he moves his leg and slams it over the long off fence for a maximum.
17.3 : 17.3: M Siraj to D Warner, OUT! Shankar is hardly in the picture here and he has to walk back. Full length delivery on off, Warner mistimes his hit and it lobs away from AB de Villiers at mid off. Hetmyer running in from long off gathers the ball and throws it at the keeper's end. Shankar was looking for the second but Warner sends him back. The throw is a good one and Parthiv is quick too to dislodge the bails. The umpire takes it upstairs and replays show Shankar is a goner.
18.2 : 18.2: U Yadav to D Warner, FOUR! PERFECT PLACEMENT! That's a shot with perfect timing on it. Yadav bowls a full toss outside leg, Warner moves away and places it through the gap at covers for a boundary.
18.3 : 18.3: U Yadav to D Warner, SIX! HAMMERED! Bowls a length ball on the pads, Warner picks it and sends it sailing over backward square leg for a maximum. He has shifted gears after Bairstow left and has taken the onus on himself.
19.4 : 19.4: M Siraj to D Warner, 100 for Warner. His 4th in the Indian T20 League. This knock just cannot be described in words. It has been one of the greatest knocks. Take a bow Warner, you deserve all the praise you get. He gets to the milestone by slashing a full toss wide of cover.
0.5 : 0.5: B Kumar to P Patel, FOUR! Looks like I jinxed the bowler. Bhuvneshwar bowls this on a length outside off, not too far but that's enough for Patel to pounce on. He punches it into the ground and finds the gap through the covers. That will give him a lot of confidence.
1.2 : 1.2: M Nabi to P Patel, FOUR! Shot! That sounded really good off the bat. Nabi drags this down slightly and Patel pulls it over mid-wicket for a meaty boundary.
1.6 : 1.6: M Nabi to P Patel, OUT! The professor from Afghanistan strikes! Flatter one on the off stump, Parthiv rocks back and looks to loft it over the cover fielder but does not get enough elevation on the ball. It goes only as far as Manish Pandey at the edge of the circle who takes a good catch. That is the early strike that Hyderabad would have wanted.
2.3 : 2.3: B Kumar to S Hetmyer, SIX! Full connection there! A short length ball, sitting up to be hit. Hetmyer removes one leg outside the line of the ball, makes room to swing and deposits the ball way over the deep mid-wicket boundary into the stands.
3.1 : 3.1: M Nabi to S Hetmyer, OUT! Stumped! Two for Nabi! Hetmyer is out of here! A flighted ball on middle, Shimron runs down the track to lift this over long on but absolutely misses the line of the ball. Bairstow collects the ball and removes the bails before Hetmyer could even think about returning! Nabi has got two wickets in two balls. Hat-trick chance coming up!
3.4 : 3.4: M Nabi to de Villiers, OUT! Bowled 'em! The 360 degree man makes his way back to the pavilion! Flatter one on middle, de Villiers looks to make room and hit it over covers. He plays down the wrong line and gets castled. What if Nabi does not get the hat-trick, he has got his third wicket inside 2 overs. Not the script Bangalore would have wanted but just what Hyderabad would have liked.
6.1 : 6.1: S Sharma to V Kohli, OUT! That is surely it, one would believe! Kohli is gone now! A length ball outside off, Kohli times it beautifully but drives it in the air. Warner at extra cover moves to his right and takes a sharp catch. Kohli cannot believe his luck and is astounded for a minute. He has to depart though!
6.2 : 6.2: S Sharma to S Dubey, OUT! Run out! Sandeep has collected the ball cleanly and removed the bails in time. Dubey pushes the ball to mid on and looks for a single. Moeen responds but Shivam sends him back later seeing the fielder reaching the ball quickly. Nabi there picks up the ball and throws the ball underarm to Sandeep who does the needful and finds Ali short of the crease. 5 down and this game looks like it is ending really soon if Bangalore don't do something.
6.4 : 6.4: S Sharma to S Dubey, FOUR! Nice looking shot from Shivam. Short and outside off, Dubey cuts it through point for a boundary.
7.3 : 7.3: M Nabi to S Dubey, OUT! Another one bites the dust and guess what? Nabi has 4! A lofted one on middle, Shivam Dubey's eyes light up and he goes for the big one. He does not hit the ball clean enough though and finds Deepak Hooda in the deep at long on. He has taken a simple catch and Bangalore are six down. This is looking embarrassing now.
10.1 : 10.1: S Kaul to de Grandhomme, SIX! The fifty comes up! Not for de Grandhomme but for the team. A length ball on middle, Colin stands tall and pulls this over deep square leg for a maximum. Great shot though Bangalore will need a lot more of these.
11.1: R Khan to de Grandhomme, SIX! Very good shot from Colin. Short delivery on middle, de Grandhomme pulls it over mid-wicket for a maximum. Bangalore need more of these.
11.5 : 11.5: R Khan to de Grandhomme, FOUR! Second boundary of the over. De Grandhomme cuts it through point for a boundary.
12.3 : 12.3: B Kumar to Ray Barman, FOUR! Good shot from the young Ray Barman. Shorter delivery on the body, Barman pulls it fine of fine leg for a boundary.
12.6 : 12.6: B Kumar to de Grandhomme, FOUR! De Grandhomme is not going to go down without a fight. Shorter delivery on middle and leg, Colin smokes his pull over mid-wicket for a boundary.
13.2 : 13.2: R Khan to de Grandhomme, FOUR! Amazing shot. Full and outside off, de Grandhomme lofts it over covers. Manish Pandey in the deep dives to stop it but it goes through him for a boundary.
14.3 : 14.3: S Kaul to Ray Barman, FOUR! Some runs coming here for Bangalore as the 50-run stand comes up. Kaul bowls it short this time, Ray Barman pulls it and sends it one bounce into the fence at backward square leg.
15.1 : 15.1: S Sharma to Ray Barman, OUT! The youngster's innings comes to an end. A debut to forget for the youngster but he did well with the bat. Slower delivery on off, Ray Barman makes room and looks to play it on the off side. He gets beaten by the slowness off the ball and ends up chipping it straight to Deepak Hooda at cover. Hooda makes no mistake and takes the dolly easily. The 51-run stand comes to an end.
15.5 : 15.5: S Sharma to U Yadav, SIX! Umesh Yadav won't wait. Back of a length delivery on middle and off, Yadav flat bats over long on for a maximum.
16.2 : 16.2: V Shankar to U Yadav, FOUR! Driven! Bowls it full again but Umesh this time drives it crisply through the covers for a boundary.
17.3 : 17.3: R Khan to de Grandhomme, OUT! It has just not been Bangalore's day. Floated delivery outside off, de Grandhomme strokes it wide of deep cover and runs the first one hard. He goes for the second but Umesh was not aware. Colin comes halfway down the track and Umesh seeing this sacrifices his wicket as the ball is thrown to the bowler's end. Rashid Khan waits for a while and then teasingly takes the bails off.
18.4 : 18.4: V Shankar to M Siraj, OUT! Run out! So much confusion here and in the end it is de Grandhomme who has to walk off. A length ball outside off, Siraj drives it towards covers and runs for the single. His partner is ball watching all along as the fielder at cover, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picks up the ball and throws it at the bowler's end. Shankar removes the bails at his end first and then scores a direct hit at the keeper's end. Sandeep Sharma runs from mid-wicket and tells the umpire that the ba
19.5 : 19.5: S Sharma to Y Chahal, OUT! That's the final wicket and Bangalore are bowled out for 113. Shorter delivery on middle, Chahal looks to pull but top edges it to mid-wicket. Deepak Hooda there takes an easy catch. HYDERABAD WIN BY 118 RUNS.
