Match over
0.2 : 0.2: Isuru Udana to Jos Buttler, FOUR! Buttler and Rajasthan are underway! Udana bowls this one little too straight. Buttler just tickles it nice and fine. It races away to the fine leg fence.
0.6 : 0.6: Isuru Udana to Steven Smith, FOUR! No, he can't! Smith is too good on his pads. Udana delivers the last ball there. The fine leg fielder is inside the ring. Smith tucks it away from him and it races away to the fence. 9 from the opening over.
1.2 : 1.2: Washington Sundar to Jos Buttler, FOUR! Swept fine and hard! Shortish and around middle, Buttler moves inside the crease and sweeps it past the short fine leg fielder. No chance for him to try and chase. 2nd boundary for Buttler.
2.2: Isuru Udana to Jos Buttler, FOUR! Hammered! Udana continues to bowl short and on middle. Buttler is on his back foot waiting for it. He goes back and whacks it over mid-wicket and into the fence in the deep.
2.1 : 2.1: Isuru Udana to Jos Buttler, SIX! BOOM! First biggie of the game! A change of pace from Udana. Buttler reads it well and waits for the ball. He then powers it way over the deep mid-wicket fence.
2.4 : 2.4: Isuru Udana to Steven Smith, OUT! Dragged on! Udana removes the Rajasthan skipper! Short and wide outside off, Smith throws his bat at it but ends up dragging the ball on his stumps. Udana had took the pace off on this ball as well but it was there to be smashed. And that's why Smith is livid with himself.
2.5 : 2.5: Isuru Udana to Sanju Samson, FOUR! What a way to open the account. No wonder this man is in form of his life. Batters are normally a bit nervous facing their first ball but not this man. Full and just outside off, Smason leans forward and nails the drive through covers.
3.1 : 3.1: Navdeep Saini to Jos Buttler, OUT! CAUGHT! What a catch! Massive, massive wicket. Saini lures Buttler with a fuller one outside off, Buttler goes after the drive but ends up getting a thick outside edge. Kohli has kept a slip fielder. Padikkal is the man. He dives to his right and takes the catch inches above the turf. They celebrate, the umpires want to confirm if this is a clean catch. Replays roll in and it confirms that Padikkal has taken a superb catch.
4.1: Yuzvendra Chahal to Sanju Samson, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Another one bites the dust! Bangalore are on fire. Brilliant bowling change from Kohli. He tosses the ball to his main spinner, Chahal, inside the Powerplay. And the spinner strikes first ball. He tosses the first ball around off and middle, Samson looks to work it on the leg side but ends up chipping it towards the bowler. Chahal dives to his right and takes the catch and celebrates. The umpire again wants to confirm if it is a clea
6.6 : 6.6: Adam Zampa to Robin Uthappa, FOUR! Just wide! A welcome, welcome boundary for Rajasthan! Also, the last ball spoils the over. It is a little too full. Uthappa smashes it down towards the long on fence. It is quite straight. The fielder in the deep runs to his left and dives but is away from him.
8.2 : 8.2: Adam Zampa to Mahipal Lomror, SIX! That is right off the middle! So they have probably decided to go after Zampa. A boundary in his last over and now a biggie. The slog sweep is out. It is right in the arc, full and on middle. It sails over the mid-wicket fence as it is right off the middle. The bigger side of the ground but it does not matter.
9.3 : 9.3: Navdeep Saini to Mahipal Lomror, FOUR! Muscled! Runs starting to come now for Rajasthan. Lomror clears his front leg and this is bowled shorter and around off, it is flat-batted past the fielder at mid off and it races away to the fence.
10.1 : 10.1: Yuzvendra Chahal to Robin Uthappa, OUT! CAUGHT! Chahal arrives and strikes on the first ball again. Uthappa's struggle out in the middle is over for this game. Chahal tosses this full and just outside off, Uthappa looks to clear the long off fence but doesn't time it well. One of the reason for that is that the ball spun away. It is mistimed towards long off. Udana, the fielder comes forward and takes a good catch.
12.4 : 12.4: Adam Zampa to Riyan Parag, FOUR! Welcome boundary for Rajasthan. That was drilled by Parag. Full and on middle, Parag slams it to the right side of the bowler. Zampa had no chance.
14.5 : 14.5: Yuzvendra Chahal to Mahipal Lomror, SIX! BANG! Lomror connects it this time. It's a massive hit! Full and around off, Mahipal dances down the track and launches it. It goes really high and eventually over long on.
15.5: Isuru Udana to Riyan Parag, OUT! TAKEN! Parag holes out! A shorter one and on middle, Parag looks to pull but is a touch early in the stroke. He ends up hitting it down to long on where Finch takes it. Second wicket for Udana and Bangalore continue to take wickets at timely intervals.
16.1 : 16.1: Yuzvendra Chahal to Mahipal Lomror, SIX! He bags a punch does Lomror! That is some hit! Towards the longer side and he clears it with ease. Once again it is the slog sweep which is played and he middles it. It goes well over the mid-wicket stand. Perfect start to the over.
16.4 : 16.4: Yuzvendra Chahal to Mahipal Lomror, OUT! Lomror holes out! Chahal has the last laugh. End of a very good innings from Lomror in his first outing in this year's edition. Also now Bangalore have two new batters out there at a time when Rajasthan will look to launch. Not easy to come out all guns blazing on this wicket. Chahal tosses this up nicely and outside off. Lomror has to reach out for it. He does so and looks to loft it over long off but ends up slicing it towards the fielder there. P
17.1 : 17.1: Navdeep Saini to Rahul Tewatia, SIX! Whipped! Just a flick of the first and it goes all the way. Very stylish. On the pads, Tewatia flicks it, it is with the wind and goes over the square leg fence. He loves hitting sixes and this is Rajasthan's 50th six of this edition. Also, good way to start the over.
17.6 : 17.6: Navdeep Saini to Jofra Archer, FOUR! A biggie to begin the over and a boundary to end it! This is fortunate though. A full toss on the body, Archer swings but it goes off the inside edge, past short fine leg and a boundary. 13 from the over. Rajasthan would love a few more like this one.
18.3 : 18.3: Isuru Udana to Jofra Archer, SIX! Smashed! The slower one but it is way too short. It sits up to be hit. Archer waits for it and then smashes it over the mid-wicket fence for a biggie.
19.2 : 19.2: Navdeep Saini to Rahul Tewatia, SIX! WOW! Tewatia makes the full use of the Free Hit! A good length ball around off, it is in the hitting zone of Tewatia. He stays deep inside the crease and powers it way over deep square leg for a biggie. These are vital runs for Rajasthan.
19.3 : 19.3: Navdeep Saini to Rahul Tewatia, SIX! Smart from Tewatia. Not too smart from Saini. Goes for a yorker but ends up bowling a full toss outside off, Tewatia moves towards the off side and just flicks it over deep square leg for another six. Gurkeerat did well to try and catch but this was beyond his reach. Good effort from him. 150 up for Rajasthan.
0.6 : 0.6: Jofra Archer to Aaron Finch, FOUR! Up and over!
1.1 : 1.1: Jaydev Unadkat to Devdutt Padikkal, SIX! Welcome into the attack, says Padikkal. This lad can bat and smoke them out of the park. A fuller ball on the pads of Padikkal, he just whips it over deep square leg for a massive biggie. Only the second ball that he is facing. Talk about confidence.
1.3 : 1.3: Jaydev Unadkat to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Excellent batting. Short and just around off, Padikkal quickly rocks back and powers it over mid-wicket and bags a boundary now.
2.2 : 2.2: Shreyas Gopal to Aaron Finch, FOUR! Pulled away! Gopal saw him making room and bowled it down the leg side. But it is too short. Finch adjusts well and pulls it to the deep square leg fence.
2.3 : 2.3: Shreyas Gopal to Aaron Finch, OUT! LBW! Excellent review from Gopal. He forced his skipper to go for it. And that has got them the breakthrough. A full ball around off and middle, Finch premediates and goes for the paddle sweep but he misses to get hit on the pad. They all go up in appeal but it has been turned down by the umpire. Gopal is confident. He pleads his skipper to go for it and Smith obliges. Time for the replays! No bat involved and hitting the wickets. Superb review from Gopal.
3.2 : 3.2: Jofra Archer to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Archer is not happy and rightly so! That should have been stopped! It is on the pads, it is worked towards short fine leg. Gopal dives over the ball and it goes to the fence. Rajasthan do not have a lot to play with and all of this needs to be stopped.
4.3 : 4.3: Shreyas Gopal to Virat Kohli, FOUR! That should get Kohli going! You can't bowl that short. Not to Kohli at any given time. It is short and down the leg side. Kohli powerfully pulls it over square leg and gets a boundary.
5.3: Tom Curran to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Nicely played! Slightly shorter but this time on the body. Padikkal waits for it and then pulls it behind square on the leg side. It races away to the fence.
5.5 : 5.5: Tom Curran to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Up and over! Stand and deliver stuff! Slightly short again and outside off. One more slower one. Padikkal this time waits for it and lofts it over covers for a boundary.
7.6 : 7.6: Tom Curran to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Misfield and it goes for a boundary! Poor, very poor from Rajasthan. Kohli comes down the track and it is a fullish ball on off. He strokes it towards cover who lets it through and it races away to the fence. Spoils the over. 91 needed in 72.
8.2 : 8.2: Rahul Tewatia to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Too short and hammered away! Kohli quickly goes onto the back foot and pulls it hard through mid-wicket. A boundary.
11.3 : 11.3: Jaydev Unadkat to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Delicate touch to get to his half ton. Gets to his 3rd fifty in the Indian T20 League, in just 4 innings. Good length ball just outside off, Padikkal waits and then runs it down to the third man fence. A fine, fine knock in the run chase from the young man.
12.2 : 12.2: Riyan Parag to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Slammed away! Full and outside off, Kohli powers it over extra cover and bags a boundary.
12.3 : 12.3: Riyan Parag to Virat Kohli, SIX! Up and over! Kohli changing the gear now! Full and just around off, he skips down the track and lifts it over deep cover for a biggie.
14.4 : 14.4: Rahul Tewatia to Virat Kohli, SIX! All the way! Excellent use of the feet from Kohli. He gets to the pitch of the ball and smashes it over long on. 39 more needed.
15.1 : 15.1: Jofra Archer to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! This is good batting from Padikkal! Short and outside off, Padikkal cuts it over point for a boundary.
15.5 : 15.5: Jofra Archer to Devdutt Padikkal, OUT! BOWLED! It has been an excellent knock from Padikkal. Full delivery on middle, Padikkal makes room and looks to steer towards point but misses it and gets bowled.
17.1 : 17.1: Tom Curran to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Just wide and a boundary! Kohli steps out and turns this into a half volley. It is on off and Kohli creams it past the stretched hand of Curran and down to the long off fence. Good start to the over. 20 needed in 17.
17.5 : 17.5: Tom Curran to Virat Kohli, Four! Up and over! 12 needed now in 13 balls. Shorter and outside off, it is the slower one but not a good ball with third man up. Kohli plays the upper cut. It goes over that fielder and for a boundary.
17.6 : 17.6: Tom Curran to Virat Kohli, FOUR! In the gap and it is another boundary! Runs needed in single digits now. Shorter and on the body, Kohli whips it behind square on the leg side and it goes away for another boundary. Third in the over and that is probably the stroke which seals the deal for the batting side.
19.1 : 19.1: Tom Curran to AB de Villiers, FOUR! De Villiers finishes it off in style! A full toss on middle, this is hit wide of mid on and it races away to the fence. BANGALORE WIN BY 8 WICKETS!
