0.3 : 0.3: Jofra Archer to David Warner, OUT! Caught! It is off the glove and Warner walks back for a duck and takes a review with him as well. Brilliant start from Archer and England. It is another pacy peach from Archer.  Archer hits the deck hard around off and this one comes in with pace. Warner looks to defend but the ball cuts him in half and goes to Buttler. The England players go up in appeal and the umpire raises the dreded finger. Warner signals the 'T' straightaway. Replay rolls in and Ul
1.5 : 1.5: Mark Wood to Alex Carey, OUT! CAUGHT! England all over Australia here! Second wicket already and we are just in the second over. Alex Carey never really looked comfortable since he came out to the crease. This one was bowled on a length on top of off, Carey gave himself some room and looked to cream it on top of the covers. He though gets an outside edge which goes to Buttler behind, who takes it safely.
2.2 : 2.2: Jofra Archer to Aaron Finch, SIX! What a shot! Did not hit it hard just used the pace of Archer. Back of a length ball on off and middle, Finch just picks it up and lofts it over the square leg fence. There is a fielder in the deep who thinks he has a chance but he does not as it sailed well over the ropes and into the empty stands.
3.3 : 3.3: Mark Wood to Aaron Finch, Four! The batsman drives this through the third man and the ball races away to the fence.
3.5 : 3.5: Mark Wood to Aaron Finch, EDGED AND FOUR! Full around off, Finch looks to play it towards mid off and cover but the ball takes a thick inside edge. Luckily for the Australian skippr, the ball misses the stumps and goes fine towards the fine leg fence for a boundary. Aaron is riding his luck here.
4.1 : 4.1: Tom Curran to Steven Smith, FOUR! Short and on top of the stumps, Smith pulls this away to the deep mid-wicket region for a boundary.
4.4 : 4.4: Tom Curran to Steven Smith, SIX! Excellent shot from Smith, excellent body position as he played that. Shortish and on the body, Smith launches this high and over the deep square leg region for a biggie.
4.6 : 4.6: Tom Curran to Steven Smith, OUT! RUN OUT! What was he doing there Steve Smith? He had got two boundaries in the over and this was needless! He wanted a quick single but looks like he will have to continue to keep walking back to the dressing room. Full on middle and leg, he clips this straight to Morgan at short mid-wicket. The English skipper collects that quickly and a direct hit is effected at the non-striker's end. He knows and England know and even Smith knew that he was a gonner. The
5.3 : 5.3: Mark Wood to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! Just wide of the diving Buttler! Down the leg side at pace. Stoinis looks to flick but the ball takes a feather off his bat and goes down the leg side. Buttler dives but cannot get there. Stoinis gets off the mark with that streaky boundary.
5.4 : 5.4: Mark Wood to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! This is a shot we are acostumed to see from Stoinis in Big Bash! He has not justified his talents with the willow at interntaional level and today can be his oppurtunity. Overpitched on middle and off, Stoinis just strokes it right off th meat of his bat wide of the diving mid on fielder for a boundary.
7.2 : 7.2: Chris Jordan to Marcus Stoinis, SIX! Hulk to turn green finally for Australia? Looks like it. Back of a length ball on off, Stoinis picks it early and pulls it with power over mid-wicket for a biggie.
10.4 : 10.4: Adil Rashid to Aaron Finch, SIX! That is the power of the Australian skipper. Tossed up ball on middle, Finch goes downtown. He does not time it well but still manages to clear long on with ease. Much-needed boundary for the Aussies.
11.2 : 11.2: Chris Jordan to Aaron Finch, FOUR! Picked it up nicely did Finch! It was short and on the hip, he tucks this away fine to the fine leg region for four.
11.5 : 11.5: Chris Jordan to Aaron Finch, FOUR! Finch has been staying deep in the crease for long and setting himself for the pull shot. This one was shortish and slow on the stumps, Aaron waits and waits and pulls this to deep backward square leg for four runs.
11.6 : 11.6: Chris Jordan to Aaron Finch, OUT! BOWLED! Intelligent bowling from Jordan! There is a reason why he is in such demand across the world for various T20 franchises! Finch, the Australian captain, has to depart for 40. Coming to the ball, it was bowled on a length just outside off, cramping Finch for room. Finch looked to guide that fine behind square on the off side but gets a bottom edge and ends up chopping back on to his stumps.
12.1 : 12.1: Adil Rashid to Marcus Stoinis, SIX! There is a long off in place but Stoinis does not care. Leg spinner around off, Stoinis lofts it over long off and gets enough to send it over the ropes.
12.6 : 12.6: Adil Rashid to Marcus Stoinis, OUT! Caught! Excellent ball from Rashid and once again he gets a wicket off the final ball of his quota. Credit has to be given to Morgan as well. Hardly anyone keeps a slip in the 13th over of a T20 game but Morgan kept and it paid dividends. Short leg spinner. Stoinis was maybe expecting a googly but it is the leg spinner. He adjusts to it in the last minute and looks to run it down away from the man at slip but ends up gving a catch practice to Malan to
14.4 : 14.4: Moeen Ali to Ashton Agar, EDGED AND FOUR! Just wide of Malan at first slip. Tossed up around off. Agar looks to drive but the ball spins away. It takes the outside edge and goes to the left of Malan. He stretches and falls. Maybe the ball kisses his fingers and it goes past to the third man fence.
17.1 : 17.1: Tom Curran to Glenn Maxwell, SIX! Just over! Slower ball on off, Maxwell heavs it over wide long on. He does not time it well but gets enough to see the ball go over the jumping Archer in the deep. Good start to the over for Australia. Need to make it count now.
18.1: Chris Jordan to Glenn Maxwell, Four! No need to run for that. The batsman stays in his crease and punches it through cover. Finds the fence.
18.2 : 18.2: Chris Jordan to Glenn Maxwell, OUT! Caught! Jordan gets the Big Show! This can easily make a difference of 10-15 runs to the final total. Maxwell is a dangerous batsman. Jordan hits the deck hard and bowls it at pace. Maxwell clears front leg and looks to flat-bat it over on the off side. He ends up getting an edge which goes straight into the mitts of Buttler.
18.4 : 18.4: Chris Jordan to Ashton Agar, FOUR! Second one of the over but a poor ball from Jordan. It is too full outside off. Agar comes inside the line and hits it hard through mid on for a boundary.
19.3 : 19.3: Jofra Archer to Pat Cummins, FOUR! Does not matter how they come as long as they keep coming. Archer misses his yorker and bowls it full. Cumins swings across but gets an edge which goes over towards the third man fence for a boundary.

1.5 : 1.5: Pat Cummins to Jos Buttler, Four! The batsman drives this through the cover and the ball races away to the fence.
2.1 : 2.1: Mitchell Starc to Jonny Bairstow, FOUR! Over mid off and that is all it wanted! Good length ball outside off, it does no swing and comes straight. Bairstow goes over mid off and gets a boundary.
2.2 : 2.2: Mitchell Starc to Jonny Bairstow, FOUR! Now angers Starc with a shot back over his head. Full around off, Bairstow slashes it over Starc's head for a boundary.
2.5 : 2.5: Mitchell Starc to Jonny Bairstow, OUT! HIT WICKET! My, my! Bairstow will not want to look back at it. He might have a laugh about it later on but today he will be fuming. Bouncer from Starc! Bairstow sways away and he swings his bat too far behind as he disturbs his own stumps. One way you never want to get out. Australia have their first breakthorugh albiet with some luck!
3.6 : 3.6: Kane Richardson to Jos Buttler, SIX! Yeah, it was coming! It was always coming! Buttler would not want Richardson to settle! Full on the off-stump, he lofts this over cow corner for a maximum. The ball just about touched the ropes on the full.
4.4 : 4.4: Mitchell Starc to Dawid Malan, FOUR! That will do Malan a good deal of confidence! Shortish and on the stumps, he pulls Starc to the mid-wicket region for a boundary.

12.2: Pat Cummins to Dawid Malan, FOUR! What a shot! Class written all over it! Full and around off, Malan makes room and lifts it over extra cover for a boundary. He moves into the 40s now.
