0.0 : It is yet another Super Saturday in the Indian T20 League! Two games, two very important games. Mumbai take on Delhi first and then it will be followed by the Southern Derby as Bangalore meet Hyderabad. Let's talk about the first game in hand.
It will be interesting to see if both sides make changes to their XI. Mumbai are through and they might want to rest a couple of their players while Delhi might bring in their dashing opener, Prithvi Shaw in this game. How is the pitch going to play for this day game in Dubai? Mumbai won chasing against Delhi when the teams met last time. Will that remain the same? We will find out all these answers soon. Stay with us...
PITCH REPORT - Danny Morrison and Deep Das Gupta are out in the middle for the pitch report. Morrison says that it is 33 degrees. Adds that they have not played in a while in this strip as the last game played on this strip was on 8th October. Gupta says that the pitch is firm and hard and it looks good for batting. Adds that the average first innings score batting for a day game is 160. It could also aid the spinners as the track might slow down later on in the innings.
Mumbai, the defending champions have stormed their way to the playoffs. A win here will confirm a spot in the top 2 for them which is always an advantage. The big question. Will Rohit Sharma play this game? The answer to this is unknown for now. However, the way the side has played and the way Kieron Pollard has led the unit, Rohit's absence hasn't been felt much. The batters are dominating, the bowlers are firing. All is well for them and they'd hope it remains that way going forward into
Let's talk about Delhi then! A few games back, they were the side to beat but things changed dramatically for Shreyas' men. Three losses in a row. A win here will mean that they will become the 2nd team to make it to the playoffs. The team hasn't fired collectively and will be eager to put those performances behind and produce a massive effort to go past a strong unit like Mumbai.
TOSS - Kieron Pollard and Shreyas Iyer stride out for the toss. Up goes the coin and it lands in the favor of Pollard. Mumbai will BOWL FIRST.
The skipper of Mumbai, Kieron Pollard, says that he is not sure what the wicket will do and they wanted to see what the pitch can do. States that there are two changes as Jayant Tiwari and Nathan Coulter-Nile come in place of Hardik Pandya and James Pattinson. Adds that the franchise is fantastic and the owners have done a good job and they want to continue this. Feels that they have performed well and everyone has chipped in and he hopes that this can continue. Hopes they can finally win a game

DRINKS! Mumbai have started off really strongly in this game. They have done well to remove the openers of Delhi cheaply and they have stemmed the flow of runs for them as they have only scored 44 runs in the first 9 overs. Mumbai will look to continue this and they will be hoping thay they can restrict Delhi to a low score. Delhi, on the other hand, will want to press on the accelerator. 10.2 : Rahul Chahar to Shreyas Iyer, OUT! STUMPED! Rahul Chahar strikes right on his second delivery and he gets the big wicket of Shreyas Iyer! Beautifully bowled by the spinner and de Kock is very quick to whip the bails off! Another breakthrough for Mumbai and Delhi are in a bit of a pickle now. Chahar dishes a loopy delivery around off, Iyer lunges forward and looks to defend but it spins away past his outside edge into de Kock's mitts and he whips the bails off in a flash. The square leg

13.6 : Jasprit Bumrah to Harshal Patel, OUT! LBW! Full delivery on middle and leg, Harshal looks to flick this away but misses it. It goes onto hit his pads. Bumrah appeals and the umpire raises his finger. It looked like it might have been missing the leg stump and also the height could have been an issue but Delhi canno

A straightforward chance for the elder Pandya.
DRINKS! This has been an emphatic show with the ball by Mumbai. Delhi are struggling at the moment and by the looks of things, Mumbai might bundle Delhi well before they cross the 100-run mark. Bumrah has been phenomenal as he has turned the tide completely in Mumbai's favour. Delhi will want to score some runs in the end and cross the 100-run mark as then they have a target to defend.

18.6 : Jasprit Bumrah will bowl the final over of the innings. 3-0-14-3 are his figures so far.
What a bowling show we have had courtesy of the bowling attack of Mumbai. They were right on the money from the first delivery of the game and they have made sure that Delhi end with a tame total of 110 on the board. With the batting talent that Mumbai possess, they will be confident to chase this down with ease.
Delhi never got going with the bat in this game. They started off really poorly and they continued that throughout the innings. Boult struck in the first over as he got Dhawan and Delhi never recovered after that. Pant and Iyer tried to stitch a partnership to steady the ship but they were slow with their intent. Iyer tried to step it up, but he fell too. After that, they just kept losing wickets and they will feel that they are well below the score that they would have wanted. A very poor show
Mumbai were on fire with the ball in hand. They started off as Boult got rid of Dhawan right at the start. It was the three wickets that Bumrah got in the middle overs that turned the tide in their favour. Boult and Bumrah both scalped three wickets each and they both conceded less than 40 runs in their quota of 8 overs. Coulter-Nile and Rahul Chahar were in the wickets column as well. Even though, Jayant Yadav and Krunal did not pick a wicket, they were wonderful with the ball.
Right then! Delhi have ended their innings with 110 on the board. Not the biggest total and definitely not something you would want to defend against this Mumbai batting line up. The batting of Mumbai will be rearing to go out and chase this down. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Join us for the chase in a bit.

DRINKS! Mumbai are strolling through in this run chase! With absolutely zero pressure with respect to the asking rate, both de Kock and Kishan want to take their time and finish the game on their own. The shoulders look dropped already in Delhi camp but they would like to get at least a couple of wickets and delay the defeat. At the same time, it's not over until it's over. Well, Mumbai have made small work of this chase and it is Kishan's show with the bat that has made sure that there are no twists in the tale for Mumbai. They have wrapped the game up in some style and have won this game by 9 wickets and with 34 balls to spare. A very comprehensive victory for Mumbai.
Even though the total was not a big one, starting off well was important and their openers de Kock and Kishan did just that. They started off slowly but kept increasing their tempo. They had a 50-plus stand and it was de Kock who fell unfortunately for Mumbai. Kishan was brilliant with the bat as he scored a very well made 72. It was then Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav who did well to wrap this game up. In the end, it was a very easy chase and win for Mumbai.
0.0 : Pravin Dubey is back on. 2-0-19-0 are his figures so far.
14.2 : With just 110 runs to defend, you cannot point your fingers at the bowling by Delhi. It was a very low total to defend and in the end, they could not do enough to stop Mumbai from chasing this down. They did not pick up wickets early on in the innings to pile some pressure on the batters of Mumbai and there was not much that they could do after de Kock and Kishan got going. Overall, it was a poor performance by Delhi.
Delhi skipper, Shreyas Iyer, says that they failed to read the wicket and were not up to the mark from the start. Feels that wickets early on took the momentum away. Says that a lot of flaws to point to but adds that they want to back themselves. Tells that they needed a good start and reckons 150-160 should've been a good score. On their last game against Bangalore, Iyer says that they need to be fearless in their approach and they do not need to think about the future.
Trent Boult is caught for a quick chat! Says that there was a bit of swing but it wasn't there for too long. Feels that it was a collective performance from the team. Adds that they never allowed the pressure to get off Delhi. Says that the wickets are getting better to bowl now. Ends by saying that he wants to take the momentum towards the business end of the tournament.
Earlier in the day, Mumbai were brilliant with the ball and they bundled Delhi out for a low score of 110. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah were on fire with the ball and they both scalped 3 wickets each. They did not let Delhi into the game at any point. The batters of Delhi were nowhere to be found and Mumbai muscled them out of the game. This win sees Mumbai making sure that they end in the top 2 spots and this loss for Delhi means that their place in the playoffs is not confirmed and they will
Mumbai skipper, Kieron Pollard, says that Boult has consistently given them wickets in the Powerplay. Tells that Bumrah did the job in the middle overs. Says that Bumrah wants to bowl in the Powerplay as well but adds he felt that he can use him in the latter half of the bat. On Kishan, he says that when he gets going, he goes big and he is happy for him and hopes he continues doing the same in the next few games. Tells that getting the chance to open has helped it really well. Feels he is learn
Ishan Kishan is awarded the Player of the Match award for his superb knock. He tells that it wasn't that easy as it looked as the ball wasn't coming onto the bat. Says that he just rotated the strike on the good balls and went after the bad balls. On him hitting big sixes, Kishan jokes and credits his mom for that. Says that he has worked hard on these big shots and that is helping him. Adds that his strength is on the leg side but he has been working hard to play on the off side as well. Mentio
Right then! That's all from this game. This victory makes sure that Mumbai end in the top 2 in the table. This loss for Delhi means that they need to win their next encounter if they want to make sure that they make the playoffs. But, we are not done with the action for today as it is Super Saturday! The next game of the day sees Bangalore lock horns against Hyderbad in Sharjah. The action will begin soon but you can switch the tabs and catch all the build-up.
