Watch: This 14-year old's poem 'White Boy Privilege' is as honest as it can be

In light of the recent police shootings in the United States that gave rise to the 'Black Lives Matter' movement, Royce Mann a 14-year-old boy from Atlanta, US, spoke of what could be done to stop the discrimination.

Royce speaks of the privileges that come automatically with being a white, male person, about how they are never considered a social threat, unlike those who have a different skin colour or gender.

He talks about sharing the 'privilege blanket' that those at the top rung of the ladder have, with those at the bottom rung. Simply put, in Royce's words, "It's time to take that ladder and turn it into a bridge."
