A defiant Donald Trump said Hillary Clinton would go to jail if he were president and attacked her husband for his treatment of women in a vicious presidential debate less than a month before the US election.
The Sunday night debate, the second of three before the November 8 vote, was remarkable for the brutal nature of the exchanges between Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, and Clinton, his Democratic rival. The debate was crammed with moments that could at best be described as petty and at worse vicious - as the candidates traded personal attacks and sarcastic one-liners.
Trump frequently interrupted Clinton and sparred with the two debate moderators, who in turn chastised the crowd for occasional outbursts.
Even though not as decisively as the first Presidential Debate, according to a CNN/ORC poll of debate watchers, Hillary won the debate. with 57% stating that Hillary won while 34% went with Trump.
