Danny Rand is returning for another standalone season. Will he become popular like his fellow members from 'The Defenders?'
The first season of Netflix and Marvel's Iron Fist did not find many takers. But the superhero, who is also known as Danny Rand, seems to have redeemed himself a little with an alright performance in the ensemble short series The Defenders and the lastest season of Luke Cage.
Therefore now we see a lot of buzz around the new season of the superhero show. Finn Jones is returning to play the titular role along with Jessica Hanwick as Colleen Wing.
Simone Missick's Misty Knight will be the connecting link between Luke Cage and The Defenders incidents with the second season of Iron Fist. We will see 'Daughters of Dragon' team up to take down the bad elements.
Alice Eve of Star Trek: Into Darkness is the new addition to the cast and her character will have some connection with Sacha Dhawan's character Davos. It doesn't sound very promising for Danny.

Alice Eve is playing a new character in the series. While the showrunners have not said anything that would give away the details about her character, fandom thinks Eve is playing Typhoid Mary. Earlier we saw Danny snoop around, now we see him take down baddies in New York City. According to the Netflix synopsis of the second season, Danny will be stepping up to fill in the shoes of Matt Murdock. But that will not be all.
