After a long debate between 'Toofani seniors' Hina Khan, Gauahar Khan and Sidharth Shuka, Sara Gurpal was evicted from the house. She was Shukla's pick, while Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan wanted to evict either Rahul Vaidya or Nishant Malkhani from the 'Bigg Boss 14' house. Hina even tried to defend Sara, stating she is unwell.
Sara was also nominated because of Jaan Kumar Sanu, who felt strange after she left the house. The Punjabi kudi left the house right when she had started taking a stand, leaving all other housemates upset.
Before entering the house, however, Sara had told DNA that she has a different personality - the never-give-up kind. Gurpal also said she was made for the show, but unfortunately, neither Salman Khan nor Sidharth felt the same way, and she was evicted.
Your name is linked to the Punjabi industry and Bigg Boss has already seen Shehnaaz Gill and Himanshi Khurana. You could be compared to them too. Are you nervous about?
I'm not tensed about the comparison. Shehnaz has done so well. Sidharth and Asim have set the bar very high. And I think it is good that they are comparing. You will anyway see the real me on the show.
How excited are you for the show?
Very. I always wanted to be a part of it. I'm made for Bigg Boss! I got the offer last year, but couldn't be part of it. There was a lot of entertainment already last year, so I think I got more space in this season.
How were you approached for the show and what made you say yes?
The name Bigg Boss itself. It's the only show that everybody watches. The show also has the best host, what else do you need?
So I'm assuming you're a fan of Salman Khan too...
Oh yes, he's just killer. He was also thorougly entertaining in 'Andaz Apna Apna'. I love him as a person. I'm scared my heart will come to my mouth every time I see him.
Have you been following Bigg Boss since a long time?
Yes, I have seen a few fights.
You sound nervous...
Really? I'm not. I actually cannot be, because there's no use of it. I'm expecting that the pandemic is over after I leave.
What do you think is the right mantra to win hearts of people and eventually the trophy?
Being on the show is only my big win. I was fearless even in my life and never gave up, so I think that's the mantra.
What task wouldn't you do?
Instead I want to do everything. I think Sidharth had a great winning spirit.
Are you open to working in Bollywood or Hindi TV world?
Of course. You know, in Punjab, you all are stars, but everything is different in Mumbai. Here you have to audition. I would love to be part of a web show. I'll go crazy if I get anything.
