Sachin Tendulkar's autobiography 'Playing It My Way' hits the stands on November 6. On Sunday, it was revealed that Sachin Tendulkar was devastated during his first run as captain of the Indian side, and wanted to quit cricket.

Tendulkar was extremely disappointed with his side's shock defeat to the West Indies in Barbados in 1997, when, chasing just 120, India collapsed to 81 all out. Here is a video of that abysmal performance:

To be fair, the wicket was extremely favourable to bowlers - what they call a "minefield" for batsmen, and had become virtually unplayable by the fourth innings. Neverthless, it was a shameful batting performance from an Indian side with a really good chance to win a game (and series) in the West Indies.
