Second Test between India and Sri Lanka has been a delight to watch so far. None of the teams are ready to step back and the tussle to win is just exciting.
It was one eventful first session on day four. The second Test match between India and Sri Lanka at P Sara Oval, Colombo is a tussle to gain control and eventual victory. Quite apt if you want to bid adieu to a player like Kumar Sangakkara.
Murali Vijay kept India's hopes high. His big hits and quick runs for a second reminded us that he plays for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Good on Kaushal for removing this threat well before he could score a century. Ajinkya Rahane, Vijay's partner in crime, is inching towards a century now. The experiment of moving Rahane to number 3 spot might pay off.
Rohit Sharma who swapped the positions with Rahane proved very crucial for India in the first innings. Currently he is the man on strike. Therefore the scales of match are very much tipped in favour of India.
Second session was quite an eventful one. Therefore waiting for Rahane's slow march towards his 4th Test century was a bit frustrating. But that individual score of 126 runs has given the perfect edge to Indian side.
It was unfortunate that Saha pulled his hamstring and had to retire. Indian team management says that he was forced to retire as a precautionary measure and he should be fine for keeping.
Virat Kohli probably wants to give more room to his bowlers. This could be the reason for them not declaring the match yet.
