Match Updates - India vs Sri Lanka: 2nd Test match Day 4: Sangakkara gone, Sri Lanka 72/2 at stumps

It's stumps on Day 4 and Sri Lanka have moved along to 72/2. Karuraratne is batting on 25 and Angelo Mathews on 23. Sangakkara departed for 18 and is already the top Twitter trend in India. However, the important thing is that Sri Lanka need 341 more runs to win with just 8 wickets left. It is India's match to lose.

OUT! Don't say a word. The entire stadium has gone hush. Kumar Sangakkara is out. For the last time. Ashwin has taken him again, four times out of four. Slowly an applause begins, and it rises. Just when you thought Murali Vijay is inching towards his 7th Test century, second attempt by Tharindu Kaushal sends the batsman packing.

Vijay tries big sweep, but the ball hits right in front without even turning. Umpire gives in to a very loud appeal for a fair wicket.

Skipper Virat Kohli comes to replace Vijay. They must follow his strategy and look for quick runs.

Kaushal just got the taste of what Chameera experienced. Vijay comes out of crease, swings his arms and the ball is flying on it's way to deep midwicket. Excellent.
