And with half-an-hour left, the players have decided to shake hands and draw curtains to the contest.

Stephen O'Keefe and Matthew Wade were the not-out batsman for the Aussies at the end.

It was a hard-fought battle at the end, with both teams producing some impressive cricket over three days.

Australia will be pleased with the form of captain Steve Smith, Shaun Marsh, Mitchell Marsh, Matthew Wade and Nathan Lyon.

Going into the highly-anticipated four-match Test series against World No.1 India, the Aussies should be satisfied with the preparations they have had thus far.

However, this match will always be remembered for one man. And that, of course, is Shreyas Iyer.

The 22-year-old right-handed middle-order batsman from Mumbai played a stellar knock against a formidable Australian attack.

His 202 came off a mere 210 deliveries and was studded with 27 fours and 7 maximums. The utter domination by the youngster was a sight to behold.

Let's hope one gets to see Iyer represent the senior team soon.

Shreyas Iyer has done it! Sensational knock by the 22-year-old from Mumbai!

He has absolutely dominated the Australian bowling attack from the first ball he faced.

The hosts should be mighty pleased with their effort on Day 3 of this practice game before the Test series.

It seemed at one point that the Hardik Pandya-led side is being bullied out of the contest, but Iyer did exceedingly well to bring some sense of respectability to their performance.

Off-spinner Nathan Lyon was the pick of the bowlers or the Aussies, bagging 4 wickets.

Steve Smith and Co will definitely have a nervous lunch as the hosts trail by just 122 runs. It'll be disaster for the Aussies if they end up losing this match going into the Test series against India.

11:27 AM

Gowtham has turned it on at the Brabourne! The all-rounder has raced to 61 off 7 fours and 4 sixes.

10:58 AM

150 for Shreyas Iyer! The swashbuckling youngster is going from strength to strength.

He has got to 152 off 150 balls, with 19 fours and 6 sixes.

The steady fall of wickets at the other end haven't been able to deter the 22-year-old.

Iyer must surely eye a double-hundred now. But the question remains, will he run out of partners before he can get there!

As of now, it's Krishnappa Gowtham holding fort with him. The Karnataka lad has made an aggressive 23 off 25 balls thus far.

Ind A: 290/6, Aus: 469/5d

Ind A: 235/6, Aus: 469/5d

10:15 AM

WICKET! Rishabh Pant falls for 21 off 40 balls, c & b: Steve O'Keefe.

Ind A: 232/5, Aus: 469/5d

09:57 AM
