Fi. Praful Zaveri: This is Anand's 5th title overall. He has won the championship in all 3-formats of the game.

FI. Praful Zaveri: Anand would be richer by 1.53 million US $, which is 60% of the 2.55 million US $ prize fund. Gelfand would be getting 1.04 million US $.

FI. Praful Zaveri: When Anand had lost the WCC finals to Kasparov n the year 1995, most of the pundits had written him off. It was a devastating loss and any normal human being would have gone haywire but thanks to the resilience of Anand, we see him becoming the World Chess Champion for the nth time!!
