45' HALF TIME AT THE BERNABEU. The referee blows the whistle to cut down to Granada's misery. A pretty one sided half with RONALDO grabbing his hat-trick in first half itself. Real Madrid return to the La Liga after a week off due to international duties. 2nd palced Real Madrid will look to bounce back and get back to their winning ways.

Los Blancos, after taking a solid start to the season, went into a turbulent zone during past weeks. They lost their top spot to bitter rivals Barcelona, after losing the El Clasico 2-1 at Camp nou.
Sunday's match will be good platform for them to get back to winning ways, when they face equally distraught and relegation struck Granada CF.
Both teams have won only 1 of their previous 5 matches in all competitions, losing 3 and drawing 1.

Carlo Ancelotti beleives that Real's Madrid's loss to rivals Barcelona has lifted their spirits and morals, rather than crushing them, for the upcoming fixtures.

A major boost has been given to Iker Casillas and co. after the return of Colombian winger James Rodriguez from injury. The former FC Porto star was out for almost a couple of months due to foot injury.
The return of star defender Sergio Ramos and Croatian midfielder Luka Modric did prove benefitial for Real Madrid during previous games. However, the return of Rodriguez is an advantage for  the Spanish giants.

The last timethese two sides met, Granada were crushed 4-0 by Real Madrid with Ronaldo, James Rodriguez and Benzema netting the goals. An own goal by Babin added to Granada's misery.

Nonetheless, Real Madrid will settle no more for a victory today, if they want to maintain a stronghold in the race for Spanish title.
