CSK have won the match convincingly. Ashish Nehra destroyed Bangalore after a fantastic innings from Suresh Raina and a handy one from Faf du Plessis. RCB remain at the bottom of the table. They really missed Gayle today.

CSK have reached a very good total. A lot of batsmen chipped in with vital and quick innings. But none more than Raina who made 62 off 32 balls. Faf du Plessis' 33 off 18 was also crucial towards the end. Mitchell Starc bowled a great last over and the spinners did well.

Three runs. There should have been just one. Short slower ball outside off, Faf is better than CSK's tail, so he cuts it to third man. Third man makes a poor throw and CSK get two. Then there is another misfield so CSK run another one and Faf has to dive to make the crease in the end. CSK 181/8 after 20 overs. Good last over by Starc.

Chennai had won all their matches in IPL 8 before they were humbled by Rajasthan Royals. Bangalore on the other hand, haven't had a great start to the season, winning just one of 3 games, and that too in the last over.
For Chennai, the form of their captain MS Dhoni is a matter of concern. His 31 off 37 balls dragged down Chennai's total to just 156 last time, which Rajasthan chased with ease. For Bangalore, the bowling has not been able to consistently create pressure. The batting is shaky, with Gayle starring in the only match they won. Virat Kohli is yet to find any semblance of form.
