World Cup win could be logical swansong for Michael Clarke

As this writer had predicted before the start of the World Cup, the top two astrologically favoured teams -- Australia and New Zealand -- would clash in the final. So now the big question: who will win the coveted trophy?

The answer lies in the future than the present. Michael Clarke doesn't play T20s and has announced his retirement from ODIs. So this is his last chance to captain his country to glory. But Brendon McCullum still has shots at glory in the World T20 and club championships like the IPL. For Clarke, this is the best chance for greatness. He has been a fabulous batsman, resurrected his team from the dumps and can become a great if he leads his team to victory in a World Cup. He has a horoscope exactly similar to MS Dhoni and a World Cup win could be the logical swansong.

A deeper look at the horoscopes of both the 1981-borns also indicates that Clarke's is a tad better than McCullum's. Besides Uranus, Clarke also has Mercury and Venus in exaltation and Mars and Venus in conjunction, a superior phenomenon compared to McCullum who actually has Mars in a weaker position. The 1970-born Aussie coach Darren Lehman, who is four years older than New Zealand's Mike Hesson, is in the right astrological pecking order after the 1967-born Gary Kirsten coached India to the 2011 win.

The Australian team too consists of players who has superior horoscopes compared to their trans-Tasman 'younger' cousins. This Australian team has the capacity to go down in history as legends of the game.

Like Clarke said, they haven't had a perfect game so far and Sunday could just be that day. All planetary omens point out to Australia winning a record fifth World Cup and for the first time in their home soil.
