Escorts are highly-paid prostitutes
I am shocked at the direction in which new age and corporate India is moving. People are willing to go to great lengths to earn enough to maintain a high style of living.

I personally know businessmen who are always hunting for fresh faces to accompany them to meetings.

They, however, never tell me whether they use escort  services. Escorts are nothing more than highly-paid prostitutes who dress well, and can be taken to business meetings, whereas prostitutes cannot attend these events.

Legalising the profession would give people the license to have sex whenever they want, something that shouldn't be encouraged.

We should legalise the escort services
Every profession should be given its due respect. If people want to get in to the sex trade — and are fully aware of the pros and cons —what right do others have to intervene?

Haven't we heard cases of people climbing the ladder of  success by granting sexual favours and compromises? .

I think escort services should be legalised. It will bring down cases of forced prostitution.

Escorts are nothing but sophisticated versions of call girls/boys and prostitutes. Why treat them any different?

Legalising escort services would be akin to legalising prostitution. These days, sex has become a weapon used to get things done.

Businessmen/women use escorts to please clients, and thereby get what they want. Encouraging escort services would be dangerous, as it would make more and more people to join the business.

People lack a  value system
Escorts, when compared with prostitutes, are at an advantage. Their image is not tarnished. Anybody can be an escort and lead a normal life, and at the same time opt to earn that extra buck and enjoy a luxurious lifestyle.

People, these days, have no value system. Giving such a profession legal status could be disastrous. Every youngster will want to get into this profession.

There are very few better ways to make a quick buck without doing any hard work. 
If this continues, unchecked, the nation will stop producing  intellectuals, and will only have escort services.
