Queues will be there for weeks
The craze for the Rajnikanth starrer Robot is phenomenal. The superstar has a huge fan following down south, unlike the north, and yet the film has opened housefull across the country.

Usually, people don’t appreciate or want to see a dubbed film, but since the star himself has dubbed the film in Tamil and Hindi, I’m sure it will receive a good response. What is more surprising is that even 20-year-olds are worshipping a 60-year-old actor. This proves how charismatic he is. The film will see many queuing up to watch it for weeks.

Tamil version is doing well too
The Tamil and Hindi versions of the superstar Rajnikanth’s movie have received a fantastic response in the city. People are in awe about the film and they don’t mind watching the film the both languages. That is why even the Tamil version is doing quite well in the city. All shows have been packed and the way people are booking tickets in advance shows how the film is going to fare at the box-office. This week, we are screening more shows of the film and depending on the response we’ll see if we want to continue with it or not.

Whenever I go for a film, the content and subject of a film matters a lot, but in the case of a Rajnikanth film, nothing matters apart from the fact that he is in the film. His style sets him apart from other action heroes.

I love Rajnikanth and his movies. I loved his previous film, Sivaji, and I am sure Robot will be an entertainer. His movies are different from others. Also, he does a limited number of films, so his fans crave for him.
Gokuldas Prabhu, 64

Initially, I wasn’t excited about watching the film, but when my relatives in Bangalore informed me about how tickets are being bought for even Rs3,000, it makes me want to go and watch the film.
