I would like to write about the utter chaotic conditions on both, East and West of Borivali station. Mahatma Gandhi Road from the highway unto railway station on east is a busy road with a school, shops and hawkers. While footpaths are nonexistent with hardly any room left for pedestrians to walk, parking for commercial vehicles is provided right on the road.

The situation is worse on the west side of the station. Both, north and south ends of the railway station are congested with two to three rows of rickshaws, either waiting or driving at snail's pace, looking for passengers. This blocks the traffic, causes heavy pollution and makes it difficult for pedestrians to either walk on or cross the road. The footpath here is largely occupied by hawkers. To make the matters worse, rickshaws stands are provided at the entrances of both, LT Road and Chandavarkar Road. There is an urgent need to improve this situation.

In response to Mindstream: Let's talk about sex at 12

Parents, open your eyes

Today, children are smart and mature enough to understand about sex. I have seen children of Std IV-X  knowing much more about sex than what their parents must have thought they know. So to prevent children from taking the wrong direction in their bid to know about sex, it is a must that schools incorporate sex education in their syllabus.
