Will go for the immersionMy day begins by going to Lalbaugcha Raja idol around 12 pm. I will then have lunch with my relatives at Lalbaug. Then after attending the immersion process, I will head towards Girgaum Chowpatty along with the crowd of Lalabaugcha Raja for the immersion. I completely enjoy these festivities and particularly enjoy dancing.
—Piyush Jadhav, studentMiss being with my familyOn the occasion of Anant Chaturthi, I will be visiting the temple early morning. We would have got the idol at home, if my family was here. Nevertheless, on the first and the last day of this festival, I go to the temple and offer my prayers and seek blessings from the divine deity. Since I will be working I won't be able to enjoy all the festivities.

Religious & fun-filled dayIt's going to be a day with family and delicious food. My whole family and friends will come home. The day will start with a maha-aarti in the morning and similar aartis will be done throughout the day. In the evening we will take the Ganpati idol to a nearby lake for the visarjan. Though the day is a religious one but it is going to be an exciting one.

I enjoy eating modaksToday, I'll be going to my friend's house for Ganpati puja. And what I am particularly looking forward to eating modak. Also, we will be eating the traditional home cooked food. I won't be a part of the visarjan as it will be very crowded and there is lot of traffic. But I have made plans to enjoy the day and bid farewell to Mumbai's favourite deity.
