For the first time in the history of EA Sports FIFA, the gameplay gets into story mode, in its newest addition to the series FIFA 17: The Journey.
Sports games mostly focus on the sport which leaves no space for a storyline, so this will be different.
By focusing on a broader gameplay, The Journey will enable the player to virtually live the life of a player.
The trailer, which was released just before the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, shows that the game will follow the life of a fictional Premier League hopeful Alex Hunter, allowing the player to decide how the life of Hunter plays out, both on and off the field.
However, there is one bad news. Since the gameplay will be set on Premier League, you cannot play other leagues like Bundesliga or La Liga.
But, hey! You get to play alongside Hazard, Kompany and Oscar. Also, you don't need to worry in case you don't wish to play United, it has been left to the decision of the player.
