In a beautifully shot video, German table tennis champion Timo Boll joins a one-armed robot by German robotics company Kuka, in an epic match.
This video is part of Kuka's marketing campaigns, to promote its line of 'fastest robot in the world'. And what better way than to pit it against the best in the sport of table tennis, which is a popular way to demonstrate agility and rapid reflexes in robots.
The video builds up the battle drama as the world champion takes on the machine.
