Stocks, commodity markets remain closed

MUMBAI: All wholesale commodity markets, including bullion and metal remain closed here on Thursday on account of Diwali (Bhau Beej).
    
The Bombay Stock Exchange, the National Stock Exchange, Forex and Money Market were also closed for the festival.
    
However, the futures commodity market will open at 1700 hrs for trading in precious and base metals only.
    
While commodity markets, including steel, metal and chemical were closed in Delhi for 'Bhai Dooj', bullion remained open for regular trading.
