Kahta hai joker sara jamana: 55-year-old partially blind man finds a way for his kids' future in Mumbai local trains

Mumbai local trains are city's lifeline in more ways than one. Many people can be spotted selling small items and eatables to earn their bread and butter. Tajjan Hussain,55, is a common face for those who commute by local trains. This partially blind man can be seen singing popular Bollywood numbers of Rajkapoor era--you can't help appreciating Tajjan if you hear him sing 'Kahta hai joker sara jamana'. 

For the last five years, every day he would board local trains with one aim: To ensure his children have a bright future, so what if he is partially blind. 

Hussain has three children--two of them study in a private English-medium school. One has gone to Delhi to find some work. Tajjan sings for six hours every day and earns enough to look after his family.
