Do you feel the court must have considered Ravindra Patil's statements, which led to the actor's conviction?
Yes, I believe so, but I am not totally confident about it. I will have to go through the judgment copy.

How difficult was it for you to prove the case?
It was extremely difficult for me to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt because I came on the scene when 12 witnesses had already been examined by the earlier prosecutor. However, I exhausted all legal ways and did my best to prove the case. What really helped was, ironically, the defence witness brought in at the fag end of the case, Khan's driver Ashok Singh.

As quoted by the defence, there were many such cases in which more than five were killed and yet the guilty were awarded with minimum punishment. What do you think is the reason behind the court awarding five years in this case?
I will be able to comment on this only after going through the judgment copy.
