10 things I love about my neighbourhood: Sayali Bhagat

Thinking about why you love where you live is a fun exercise that stirs up gratitude. It is easy to want the lives that others are leading but it's more worthwhile to find and appreciate the good in your own. Life is certainly much better if you love where you live. Here is what I love about my neighbourhood at S.V. Road, Goregaon.

1. The greenery in this part of the suburb and the easy commuting access to the different areas of the city make the area livable.

2. My neighbourhood is a 15-minute drive away from both the international and domestic airports.

3. There are several options for shopping with Inorbit Mall, HyperCITY, Oberoi Mall and Infiniti 2.

4. Several food outlets are available for indulging in almost every cuisine. Such a delight for a food lover like me!

5. My neighbourhood has various entertainment options too; there is always something to do. You can catch a movie or go for a jog at the nearby park.

6. It's easy to keep the fitness quotient high with access to plenty of gymnasiums to burn off those extra calories.

7. There are fewer slums in this area, hence the infrastructure keeps improving over time.

8. I love the diverse communities in my locality. Two doors down lives the sweetest 80-year-old woman, who has been here forever and cares deeply for the neighbourhood.

9. You can experience a push in your lifestyle with the emergence of luxury residential housing.

10. One could go on and on, but I'd just like to say that this is a great place to live in and raise a family. Everything is convenient for you to lead a good life.
