Volvo to sell c30 electric car in China

Sweden's Volvo said it will launch more vehicles in China in the future, including its c30 electric car, following its pending acquisition by the parent of Chinese carmaker Geely Automobile. 

Alexander Klose, Volvo's China chief executive, made the remarks on Friday, the opening day of the Beijing auto show, China's largest.                                 

China has surpassed the United States to become the world's largest car market. Sales have risen nearly 50%, fuelled by a raft of economic incentives from Beijing to boost spending during the global downturn.
