Maize weakens on lack of buying support

Maize prices fell by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on lack of buying
support against adequate stocks position in the market.
    
Traders said lack of buying support against sufficient stocks position led to the fall in maize prices.
    
In the national capital, maize weakened by Rs10 to Rs1,350-1,360 per quintal.
    
Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal: Wheat MP (deshi) Rs1,650-1,800, wheat dara (for mills) Rs1,175-1,180 chakki atta (delivery) Rs1,190-1,195, atta Rajdhani(10 kg) Rs175, Shakti bhog (10 kg) Rs175, Roller flour mill Rs640-660 (50 kg), Maida Rs730-760 (50 kg) and Sooji Rs800-820 (50
kg).
