Honda to extend production halt in Japan to March 23

Honda Motor Co said on Friday that it will extend its production halt in Japan until March 23 from March 20 following a massive earthquake one week ago in the northeast of the country.

Honda manufactured 69,170 cars in January in Japan, where it makes 22 percent of its cars.
