HDFC Bank launches 4,000th ATM

HDFC Bank, a premier private-sector bank, today launched its 4,000th automated teller machine, in Mangalore.

This is the bank's fourth ATM in Mangalore and 1,165th in the South, a bank release said.

Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Bhagat, country head (retail liabilities, marketing, and direct banking channels), said, "We have always believed in using technology to enhance customer experience and the fact that over 80% of our regular customers transact at the ATMs is proof that adoption of such innovations is very high."
