The India-based company, which made three acquisitions in fiscal 2010, also said it was confident about its future in the Indian energy market.

Clean energy producer Greenko Group posted its highest-ever full-year pretax profit, helped by acquisitions, and said it planned to expand into wind energy that would generate more revenue in the year ahead.                                           
 
The India-based company, which made three acquisitions in fiscal 2010, also said it was confident about its future in the Indian energy market.                                           
 
For the year ended March 31, pretax profit was €4.9 million ($6.31 million), compared with €3.2 million, a year ago.                        
 
Revenue climbed 39% to €19.3 million.                                           
 
The company said the results benefited from a credit of €4.9 million after adjusting for acquisitions, compared with €1.8 million last year.                                           
 
Shares in Greenko, which was founded in 2006, closed at 142.5 pence on Tuesday on the London Stock Exchange.
