Sponsored Stories appear on Facebook users' pages with information taken from their friends that can include their Likes, names and pictures
According to a Bloomberg report, the lawsuit, filed last year by five Facebook users, called the advertisements a "misleading advertising scheme.
Meanwhile, Facebook has not disclosed the terms of the settlement, The Los Angeles Times reports
