BSE resolves 352 complaints against 225 listed companies

During the month, Bombay Stock Exchange received 249 complaints against 174 companies. In the same period 352 complaints were resolved against 225 listed companies.

BSE resolves 352 complaints against 225 listed companies

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday said that it has resolved 352 investors' complaints against companies during the month of February, 2011.

During the month, BSE received 249 complaints against 174 companies. In the same period 352 complaints were resolved  against 225 listed companies. These resolved complaints include complaints brought forward from the previous periods, a BSE statement issued in Mumbai said.

Meanwhile BSE said that nearly 1060 complaints are pending against Vatsa Corporation as on February 2011.

Among others, 172 complaints were pending against Mukerian Papers, 161 against Enkay Texfoods Ind, 153 against Panchmahal Cement, 139 against Montari Industries, 105 against Eastern Mining & Allied, 104 against Arihant Industries, 97 against Montari Leather, 95 against Padmini Technologies and 88 against Prakash Fortran Softech.

Trading in the securities of these companies has been suspended, BSE said.
